Role Description Buscamos un(a) Champion de Observabilidad con más de 3 años de experiencia, responsable de instrumentar, mantener y optimizar las plataformas de monitoreo, habilitando una visión integral de logs, métricas, trazas y experiencia digital. Este rol será clave para fortalecer la estrategia de observabilidad, impulsar la mejora continua y facilitar la detección, análisis y resolución de incidentes en entornos críticos. - Instrumentar y optimizar soluciones de observabilidad con herramientas como Dynatrace, Grafana y Zabbix. - Implementar integraciones de logs, métricas, trazas y monitoreo de experiencia digital. - Modelar métricas, logs y trazas orientadas a SLOs y mejora operativa. - Analizar la factibilidad de nuevas soluciones y proponer mejoras con valor agregado. - Facilitar la identificación de problemas mediante correlación de eventos, análisis de logs y causa raíz. - Automatizar herramientas y procesos de observabilidad. - Definir y promover patrones de arquitectura de software enfocados en monitoreo y resiliencia. - Participar en entornos ágiles bajo Scrum/Kanban y hacer seguimiento en Jira/Confluence. - Comunicar hallazgos en war rooms, post-mortems y documentación de lecciones aprendidas. - Fomentar una cultura basada en métricas, datos y mejora continua. Qualifications - Más de 3 años de experiencia en observabilidad, monitoreo, operaciones o arquitectura relacionada. - Experiencia con herramientas como Dynatrace, Grafana, Zabbix y plataformas similares. - Conocimiento en automatización con Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Monaco. - Conocimiento general en AiOps, networking, infraestructura, bases de datos y observabilidad sobre Kubernetes. - Experiencia en definición de métricas, logs, trazas y monitoreo orientado a servicios. - Manejo de Jira, Confluence y Kubernetes. - Capacidad para analizar factibilidad técnica y proponer soluciones sostenibles. Reporting to the VP of Advancement and External Relations, the Coordinator, External Relations is an integral member of a four-person Development team that also includes the Development Director and Coordinator, Data Use and Improvement. This role supports the administrative and operational functions that sustain EdVestors’ funding base, including coordinating events and providing support across the Development team. The Coordinator will assist with event planning and logistics, donor prospect research, meeting coordination, and communications, contributing to the team’s work of raising more than $5-million annually to support EdVestors’ grantmaking, programs, and operations. Responsibilities Event Planning - Plan, coordinate, and implement EdVestors’ major annual events, including but not limited to: the School on the Move Prize Ceremony, Appreciation Reception, and Education Showcase. - Provide planning and logistical support for the Seamless Advising Summit and other organization-wide, program-led events. - Coordinate 4-5 smaller donor cultivation events throughout the year, including breakfasts and receptions. - Manage event logistics, including timelines, vendors, run-of-show, materials, and day-of coordination. - Develop guest lists and prepare outreach and invitation materials. - Coordinate event volunteers and staffing assignments. - Manage event systems, including registration and donation platforms. - Coordinate event accessibility accommodations. Development Administration - Analyze donor data and prepare materials to support the VP of Advancement and External Relations in Board and Committee presentations. - Prepare decks and supporting materials for donor meetings and special events. - Conduct prospect research to identify and qualify foundation, corporation, and individual donor prospects. Other - Participate in EdVestors’ organization-wide activities, and take on additional duties or special projects as assigned. Qualifications - 1-2 years of relevant experience in event planning, marketing, fundraising, and/or the nonprofit sector; internship experience considered. - Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse constituencies and stakeholders. - Strong attention to detail and follow-through to see projects to completion. - Proficiency with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and effective ways to use them. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace; experience with Salesforce, Eventbrite, and/or Mailchimp is a plus. - Strong visual sensibility and experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred. - Genuine passion for education equity and alignment with EdVestors’ mission. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an entrepreneurial, mission-driven team, with a positive attitude and sense of humor. - Physical requirements: carrying and lifting 10-20lbs; ability to assist in room setup, which may include moving tables or chairs; and carrying/opening boxes and organizing physical program materials. Compensation The expected starting salary range for this position is $55,000 to $58,000 per year.
