Role Description ACET is seeking a motivated IT professional to support day-to-day Microsoft 365 administration while assisting with security monitoring and response across Microsoft Defender and Sentinel. This role blends traditional helpdesk responsibilities with hands-on exposure to security operations and will grow into a more advanced security and systems engineering position over time. This role will also support security and compliance initiatives aligned with frameworks such as CMMC and NIST 800-171. Key Responsibilities - IT Support / Helpdesk - Provide Tier 1–2 support for Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) - Manage user accounts, licenses, and access via Microsoft Entra ID - Troubleshoot endpoint, identity, and application issues across Windows environments - Support MFA, conditional access, and identity-related issues - Document issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures - Security Operations (Defender / Sentinel) - Monitor Microsoft Defender and Sentinel dashboards for alerts and incidents - Investigate and triage security alerts (phishing, endpoint threats, suspicious logins) - Escalate or remediate security incidents following defined processes - Assist with vulnerability identification and basic remediation tracking - Maintain awareness of threat trends and recommend improvements - Systems & Security Administration - Assist with configuration and maintenance of Microsoft 365 GCC High environment - Support implementation of security controls (Conditional Access, Defender policies, etc.) - Participate in hardening efforts across endpoints, identities, and cloud workloads - Help manage and monitor third-party tools including Cisco Meraki, Kaseya VSA X, Connectwise PSA, & AvePoint Cloud Backup - Contribute to audits, compliance efforts, and security documentation - Growth / Project Work - Support rollout of new security tools and configurations - Assist senior IT staff with security and infrastructure projects - Continuously develop skills in cloud security, identity, and endpoint protection - Assist with the creation and upkeep of company compliance documents - Involvement in other duties as assigned Qualifications - 1–3 years of IT support, helpdesk, systems administration or similar experience - Basic experience with Microsoft 365 administration - Familiarity with security concepts (MFA, phishing, endpoint protection) - Experience with Windows environments and troubleshooting - Strong problem-solving, analysis, and communication skills - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Preferred Qualifications - Exposure to Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, or similar security tools - Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID and Conditional Access - Familiarity with GCC or GCC High environments - Experience with networking or tools like Cisco Meraki - Basic understanding of CMMC, NIST 800-171, or similar compliance frameworks and their application in Microsoft 365 environments - Security certifications (Security+, SC-900, or similar) Benefits - Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage - Life insurance, AD&D, and Short- and Long-Term Disability - 401(k) Program - Wellness programs - Paid Time Off - 11 Paid Holidays - Employee Referral Program - Employee Assistance Program Please note that all compensation, benefits, and policies are subject to change at the company's discretion. Role Description This role can be based remotely in the United States. The Financial Systems Governance Administrator will administer various customer, vendor, user, and employee updates in applicable operational and financial systems. Target Salary Range $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
