• Operational procurement and planning of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies in the required quality for installation in aircraft, including price negotiations • Scheduling, release and monitoring of internal and external production orders • Ensuring incorporation of design changes during serial production • Advising and supporting internal departments on procurement matters • Proactive schedule monitoring and follow-up of components and assemblies to be procured • Development of new suppliers and point of contact for technical inquiries • Active problem-solving for procurement bottlenecks and issues • Continuous optimization of planning data, inventories and availability, and development of improvement proposals for planning processes • Participation in various projects
Job Requirements
- Technical basic training, preferably in machining (subtractive metalworking)
- Further training as a technical purchasing specialist, buyer or operations specialist
- Several years' professional experience in operational procurement or planning in a highly regulated environment
- Proficient user of ERP systems
- Good spoken and written English skills
- Understanding of and enthusiasm for Lean principles
- Systemic thinking, strong negotiation skills and a confident presence
