• Projetar e construir pipelines de CI/CD seguros para múltiplos sistemas de destino. • Desenvolver e gerenciar pipelines usando principalmente GitHub Actions, além de outras ferramentas como Jenkins, Bamboo e Travis. • Automatizar processos manuais e desenvolver ferramentas que aumentem a eficiência operacional. • Colaborar com os times de desenvolvimento para apoiar a adoção de ferramentas e práticas DevOps. • Garantir o uso de padrões seguros e boas práticas em pipelines e infraestrutura. • Escrever e manter infraestrutura como código (IaC), preferencialmente com Terraform (conhecimento em Ansible será considerado um diferencial). • Trabalhar em parceria com as equipes de infraestrutura para entregar soluções robustas e confiáveis. • Solucionar problemas e otimizar os ambientes de desenvolvimento, homologação e produção. • Contribuir para estratégias técnicas e apoiar a evolução da plataforma. • Compartilhar conhecimento e atuar como referência técnica para outros membros do time.

Job Requirements

  • Experiência com GitHub Actions
  • Experiência com Git e fluxos de trabalho colaborativos de desenvolvimento.
  • Proficiência em pelo menos uma linguagem de programação
  • Conhecimento em infraestrutura como código, especialmente com Terraform.
  • Experiência com plataformas de nuvem (experiência com azure, preferencialmente, ou AWS ou GCP)
  • Sólida compreensão dos princípios de CI/CD e automação de testes.
  • Familiaridade com estratégias de deploy sem tempo de inatividade (zero-downtime).
  • Inglês avançado (leitura, escrita e conversação).

Role Description We are seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join GitHub’s expanding IT Engineering team. This role is crucial for supporting our global workforce, known as Hubbers, who rely on our internal systems and services daily. You will be responsible for providing essential support, developing and maintaining internal tooling, and configuring systems to ensure Hubbers operate efficiently and without obstacles. You will primarily focus on Client Platform Engineering (CPE). You will need strong skills in Endpoint Device Management, such as Jamf and Intune, automation, and creative problem-solving using code and GitHub. You should have a deep understanding of modern management tools for OS configuration, patching, and compliance. As a globally distributed company, GitHub relies on asynchronous communication. Therefore, strong communication skills and empathy are essential. Proficiency with Git and GitHub is also required. Compensation Range The base salary range for this job is USD $121,800.00 - USD $323,200.00 /Yr. These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
