Principal Engineer, Global Reliability

ASR Group

• Serve as the global technical authority for reliability engineering standards, methodologies, and best practices. • Define, maintain, and govern enterprise reliability standards, tools, and frameworks. • Lead the technical deployment and sustainment of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) across critical asset classes. • Ensure critical equipment has documented failure modes, risk-based maintenance strategies, and performance expectations. • Provide expert guidance on predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and data analytics applications. • Analyze performance data to identify systemic failure patterns and recommend permanent corrective actions. • Lead or support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for complex or high-risk equipment failures. • Support capital projects by embedding reliability and maintainability requirements into design, specification, and asset handover. • Mentor and influence site reliability engineers through technical coaching and knowledge sharing. • Partner with site, regional, and corporate leaders to improve OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and asset availability.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • 20+ years of experience in industrial or large-scale manufacturing environments
  • 10+ years of advanced experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or asset management
  • Recognized expertise in Reliability-Centered Maintenance, failure elimination, and predictive maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience influencing reliability practices across multiple sites or regions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing operations with diverse asset profiles
  • Familiarity with digital reliability platforms, advanced analytics, and Industry 4.0 concepts
  • Professional engineering licensure or relevant reliability certifications (e.g., CMRP, CRE)
