• Working closely with the Head of People & Talent to translate strategy into practical tools. • Being a trusted partner to our people managers - coaching them through the people moments that matter. • Partnering with people managers and staying close to our teams - gathering insight and validating outputs. • Owning our engagement strategy - running surveys, making sense of the data. • Supporting managers to build high-performing, connected teams. • Designing and improving the workflows and processes that underpin how we operate.

Job Requirements

  • You've worked in a scaling environment and you're comfortable when things aren't fully defined.
  • You're someone people and managers want to come to- you build trust quickly.
  • You have experience supporting managers across the people lifecycle.
  • You've built people products before - onboarding programmes or similar.
  • You have an execution mindset - you get energy from building and following through.
  • You're curious about AI and actively experimenting with how it can improve operations.
  • You have experience working in or with remote or distributed teams.

Role Description We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Manager to join the team 3 days per week to lead and deliver our people strategies – including culture and engagement, recruitment and onboarding, offboarding, performance management, wellbeing, terms and benefits and compliance with all local laws applicable. Working within the Operations team you will act as a trusted advisor to the Foundation management team, manage core people processes, and ensure the Micro:bit Educational Foundation continually strives to be an excellent place of work. This role requires a both strategic and hands-on team member, ensuring that our people practices support our business goals and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture, as well as progress the Foundations goals in terms of equity, diversity and inclusion. This is a new role to support the expansion of the Foundation; if you want to work in an exciting global organisation, helping millions of children learn the digital skills that they need to be successful and build the culture and processes to facilitate its growth then this is the job for you. Don’t worry if you don’t have all of the experience or attributes listed, we welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate that they have some, but not all, of them. Qualifications - CIPD Level 5 or above or equivalent experience - 5-7+ years in HR or People and Culture roles, with at least 3 years in management or senior advisory capacity.
