Product Experience Engineer
Sleek
• Deliver Sleek’s MTD landing page and web app frontend, ensuring performance scores above 90 on Lighthouse (Core Web Vitals compliant). • Develop responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect UIs in React / Next.js / TailwindCSS aligned with Sleek’s design system. • Reduce initial page load time and optimize for SEO to improve discovery and user conversion • Develop a microsite framework for future product verticals with reusable layouts and modular content components. • Implement schema markup, meta optimization, and structured data to strengthen search visibility. • Enable the Growth team to launch microsites independently without dev dependencies. • Connect a headless CMS (Sanity / Contentful / Strapi) to Sleek’s marketing sites. • Empower non-technical teams to update content, landing pages, and campaigns autonomously. • Establish versioning, preview workflows, and rollbacks for content changes. • Deploy and configure Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Mixpanel for complete event tracking. • Implement A/B testing (Optimizely / VWO) to experiment with messaging, layout, and funnel optimizations. • Deliver actionable analytics dashboards and ensure event accuracy across web properties. • Create and launch a secondary marketing site targeting Sleek’s next business vertical (aligned with the new marketing initiative). • Ensure brand consistency, SEO optimization, and analytics instrumentation. • Achieve measurable conversion metrics tied to campaign performance.
Job Requirements
- Have a minimum of 4–6 years of total engineering experience, with 1–2 years specifically embedded within Marketing or Growth Engineering functions
- Strong frontend engineering mastery with React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Proven ability to navigate complex environments, with experience in Micro Front Ends (MFE) considered a significant advantage.
- Strong capability in SCSS for high-fidelity UI; bonus points for expertise in TailwindCSS or Chakra UI.
- Committed to code quality through rigorous unit testing using Jest.
- Deep experience in SEO and performance optimization, with a proven track record of maintaining Lighthouse scores of 90+.
- Strong integration capability with modern CMS platforms (Sanity, Contentful, or Strapi) and advanced analytics stacks, including Google Tag Manager and GA4.
- Proven cross-functional delivery of data-driven, SEO-friendly web applications, including the setup and execution of A/B testing frameworks.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to execute under ambiguity in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. You are hands-on, detail-oriented, and biased toward action.
- Experience with Zapier or other no-code automation tools to bridge the gap between engineering and marketing ops would be a bonus
- You will be located in India (working 9 am – 6 pm Singapore time).
