It entails supplier source selection, contract administration and purchase order placement in support of any of the following programs: F-35, C-130, F-16 and F-22. Duties include documentation and interface with functional organizations. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' briefings, analyzes, and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects, or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Procurement of build to print detail parts and assemblies from engineering drawings in support of various aircraft programs (C-130, F-35, F-16 and F-22). Will help develop solutions for complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation. Understands the procurement activity under the guidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
