Workday Financials Consultant

• Work directly with clients to implement Workday Financials technology solutions into their business environments of increasing complexity levels with experience • Deliver high-quality Workday solutions across multiple industries to meet clients’ business needs of increasing complexity levels with experience. • Define, build and implement financial processes and structure, in alignment with client’s business objectives and needs, enhancing clients’ experience and value of the Workday software of increasing complexity levels with experience. • Actively participate in internal training updates and opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization • Manage a team of consultants, guiding them through their Workday/professional development and handling escalations (Manager Level) • Utilize Workday experience and knowledge to develop sales material and scope projects as needed by the sales team (Senior/Principal Level) • Report directly to a Managing or Senior Managing Workday Financials Consultant • Travel 25% at client request

Job Requirements

  • Workday Financials Certification (Required)
  • 1+ years experience implementing Workday Financials configurations for customers of all sizes, of increasing complexity levels (Required)
  • 1+ years experience in gathering requirements, design, prototype, and testing of Workday Financials solutions according to customer requirements (Required)
  • Proficiency with business processes including; general ledger, budgeting, cash management, grant management, chart of accounts redesign, procure-to-pay, purchase order conversions, expense management, fixed asset management, and/or order-to-cash (Required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Required)
  • French proficiency (Preferred)
  • CPA certification (Preferred)
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and customer collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

Role Description Responsible for ensuring real estate loan applications are underwritten in accordance with the latest investor and agency guidelines. Underwrites loans within acceptable department quality standards. - Underwrites conventional mortgage loans to determine acceptable compliance with relevant agency, investor and internal guidelines. - Reviews all follow-up conditions from initial approval, suspension or decline for acceptability. - Maintains maximum 48 hours turn time on resubmissions. - Ensures all loans underwritten will be eligible for sale to end investor and appropriate government agency. - Responsible for support and utilization of pipeline management. - Clears High Impact Alerts in fraud detection tool and monitors misrepresentation risk for all loans. - Validates all AUS findings submissions to determine all requirements are met. - Obtains second signature from management for all loans exceeding lending authority. - Works directly with Loan Originators, LOA’s and Processors. - Return of all phone calls and emails in a timely fashion. - Ongoing education and training to stay current with market trends, changing guidelines and requirements. - LOS data entry to provide minimum fields needed for proper reporting for data for HMDA, and other reporting. - Other mortgage operations duties as need arises. - Underwriting authority: Conventional loans, FHA DE, VA SAR, and jumbo loans.
