Here to Serve Inc

Here to Serve (www.HereToServe.org), a 501 (c) (3) charity, provides coordinated non-medical support programs and resources for the parent(s) with children battling cancer from the point of diagnosis throughout treatment. 60% of the cancer journey happens in the home without coordinated support. Here to Serve fills this healthcare gap. We believe a child or young parent’s cancer diagnosis is a life-altering “journey.” For that reason, the care and support of families is required to prevent caregivers from losing their health, home, and job, and entering into bankruptcy. Therefore, we provide non-medical wraparound services to meet the daily living needs of families and caregivers navigating their child’s cancer. Cancer is a three-legged stool, not two! Research, Treatment, AND Journey! The journey is as profound and consequential as cancer research and hospitals that treat cancer. Therefore, a family's cancer "journey" requires the same awareness, support, and funding as cancer research and hospitals that treat cancer. Of the billions of dollars of funding for cancer, only .001% is provided to families with children actually battling cancer! Flexible work from home options available.

Role Description We're hiring a Business Development Director who can do both halves of the job: source and close new business, and grow the accounts we already have. You'll own Devoted's BD function across PC, console, mobile, and live-service — from first outreach through delivery and renewal. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be the operator who makes pipeline, retention, and account growth predictable instead of dependent on the CEO's calendar. This is not a hunter-handoff role. You'll stay close to your accounts after signing, partner with production when issues come up, and be the operator clients trust to tell them the truth. It's also not a relationship-manager role. You'll have a personal lead-generation pipeline and you'll be measured on new logos sourced as well as existing accounts grown. We need both motions in one operator. Key Responsibilities - New business and pipeline - Develop and implement Devoted's business development strategy. - Identify market trends, evaluate opportunities, and assess competitor activity — and adjust the strategy quarterly based on what you're seeing. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to expand Devoted's client base. - Build your own lead-generation pipeline — outbound, network, events — alongside developing existing relationships. - Run the full deal cycle: discovery, scoping with production, proposal, negotiation, and close. - Collaborate with the production team to identify and shape opportunities that play to Devoted's capabilities and expertise. - Account growth and retention - Set quarterly growth targets for current accounts — and meet them. - Maintain client satisfaction at 8/10 or higher across the portfolio. - Build and nurture strong relationships with clients at every level — operational, senior, and strategic. - Support the CEO with account retention and management strategies for the largest accounts. - Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and initiatives, recommending improvements and adjustments as needed. - Client liaison and contract - Be the client's primary point of contact when production issues come up — ensuring both parties focus on finding the best solution rather than placing blame. - Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with clients, partners, and vendors to ensure favorable terms and mutually beneficial relationships. - Support legal and finance with any questions on contracts and invoicing for current accounts. - Operating discipline - Be an evangelist of CRM excellence: prepare weekly plans and report on current and prospective client communication. - Prepare regular status reports including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. - Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry shows — represent Devoted, bring back leads and intelligence. - If we open headcount to support growth, hire and mentor support staff (Lead Generation Managers, BD Managers). Qualifications - 7+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships in the games industry, with a track record of revenue ownership at the Director level. - Platform-agnostic experience — you've sold or grown accounts across PC, console, and mobile. - Demonstrable personal lead generation: you've built outbound discipline and converted at the top of the funnel, not just managed inbound. - Account growth track record: existing accounts that grew quarter-over-quarter under your ownership, with measurable numbers behind it. - Real contract negotiation experience on commercial terms — pricing, scope, IP, payment terms, indemnity. - Strong commercial fluency: you understand margin, you know what a scope change costs, and you can read a project P&L. - CRM discipline: HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable — used as an operating tool, not a reporting chore. - Outstanding relationship management and interpersonal skills — caring team player who engages effectively across all levels of management, staff, and clients. - Excellent presentation, written, and spoken English — comfortable in front of senior client stakeholders and on stage at industry events. - Strong analytical and project management skills — able to juggle multiple deals and accounts, prioritize ruthlessly, and meet tight deadlines without losing the detail. - Genuine knowledge of and passion for video games and the broader games ecosystem — engines, platforms, business models, who's hot and who's fading. - Calm under pressure, organized, accountable. World-class quality is the only acceptable standard. Nice to Have - Experience selling co-development, porting, art services, or other game services (vs. only IP licensing or publishing). - Existing personal network across publishers, platform holders, and mid-to-large independent studios in North America and Europe. - Experience hiring and mentoring junior BD or lead-gen staff. - Conference circuit familiarity: GDC, Gamescom, Devcom, regional summits. - Familiarity with advanced research tools and resources for prospecting and intelligence. Benefits - 26 days leave throughout the year (accrued with tenure and company downtime during holiday periods). - Interesting and challenging tasks – solve diverse and challenging issues, communicate with people within the company as well as with our partners. - Convenient working conditions – remote work, the opportunity to build your own working day with flexible working hours. - A chance to work in a highly professional and dynamic team working with a wide range of International Game Production projects, attractive remuneration package, and opportunities to develop professionally. Company Description Devoted Studios is a globally remote game development company specializing in Co-development, Porting, and End-to-End Art Production for the global gaming industry. We collaborate across time zones to support projects on all major platforms, engines and styles - from AAA titles to emerging technologies. Our team includes world-class talents who bring deep expertise in external development, pipeline optimization, and creative problem-solving. We are proud to be the development partner of choice for industry leaders such as: - Epic - Xbox - Meta - Obsidian Entertainment - Riot - Gearbox Software

Deep understanding of clinical claim review processes, medical necessity, coding validation (DRG, CPT, etc.), and identifying improper payments. - Client-Facing Orientation: Proven ability (or strong desire) to move from behind-the-scenes operations into client engagement. Experience presenting to executives, leading demos, or consulting on workflow optimization is highly valued. - Implementation Leadership: Track record of successfully leading complex claims or PI solution implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live support. - Clinical and Technical Acumen: Strong clinical background (RN, clinical reviewer, or equivalent) paired with familiarity with AI-enabled tools, claims platforms, or automation in payment integrity. Ability to speak credibly about both clinical reasoning and technology. - Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate complex clinical/PI concepts for diverse audiences (clients, internal ops, product teams). Experience liaising between operations and external stakeholders. - Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in driving savings, improving accuracy, or scaling PI programs. Qualifications Preferred - Experience with AI/agentic AI tools in healthcare claims or prior work with platforms focused on transparent clinical AI. - Background in health plan operations, utilization management, appeals, or special investigations unit (SIU). - Knowledge of regulatory environments (e.g., CMS guidelines, state/federal compliance) and common PI challenges like upcoding, unbundling, or coordination of benefits. - Bachelor's or advanced degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCS, RHIA, CPC) are a plus. Benefits - Opportunity to shape client success in a high-growth AI healthcare company tackling $570B+ in industry waste. - Collaborative environment with expert clinicians, AI engineers, and passionate operators. - Competitive compensation, equity, benefits, and flexibility in a remote-friendly setting. - Direct impact on scaling innovative solutions that combine clinical expertise with cutting-edge agentic AI.
