• Build and deploy internal AI-powered applications and automation tools across multiple platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure, and/or Anthropic/OpenAI APIs. • Design and build external-facing applications, such as chatbots, tailored to client needs, delivering AI-powered solutions that directly support public health programs and government operations. • Develop tools that collect, aggregate, and analyze data from our existing sources, replacing manual processes with intelligent automation. • Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to power intelligent, context-aware internal tools. • Experiment with and integrate large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and emerging frameworks to solve operational and public health challenges. • Build lightweight internal-facing apps and dashboards using tools like AppScript, or similar. • Partner with AI Committee Lead to translate client or end-user public health needs into concrete technical requirements and measurable AI solutions. • Translate technical workflows and concepts clearly for non-technical stakeholders. • Collaborate closely with the AI Committee and program teams to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities. • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership and relevant project teams. • Research emerging AI models and platforms and help select the right tools for specific use cases. • Implement testing and quality assurance frameworks to ensure AI accuracy and reliability. • Monitor the performance, cost, and reliability of deployed AI models and systems, implementing optimizations as needed. • Establish and maintain documentation and best practices across AI tooling.

The Forward Deployed AI Strategist leads the work that defines what transformation looks like before a single Architect is deployed. You own blueprint engagements — comprehensive assessments of how an organization builds software across the full SDLC and PDLC, where AI can change the economics, and what a credible multi-phase roadmap looks like. You then lead the execution programs that follow, coordinating Agentic Architects across parallel workstreams and driving outcomes against the plan you set. Your clients are PE portfolio companies, growth-stage software businesses, and enterprise engineering organizations where transformation decisions are made at the C-suite and board level. Role Description We are seeking an exceptional graduate to join Stalis as a generalist across our technical and operational functions. You will work closely with teams across the business, developing a deep understanding of how healthcare data moves through our systems and identifying opportunities to apply programming, modern tooling, and AI to improve how we work. Over time, as Stalis’s data intelligence capability matures, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to machine learning and analytics work that shapes our next generation of products. This is a broad role, and not every task will be glamorous. Much of the early value comes from genuinely understanding how work is done at Stalis today - which means doing the work, not just observing it. Some of your time will be spent on detailed, careful data tasks that are essential to our clients.
