Job Description

Forward Deployed AI Strategist

Caylent

Role Description Caylent's Anthropic Enablement & Engineering (AE2) practice is a dedicated AI services team built in partnership with Anthropic. We were Anthropic's first pure-play delivery partner, and are working closely with them to define the next evolution of Software Development. The Forward Deployed AI Strategist leads the work that defines what transformation looks like before a single Architect is deployed. You own blueprint engagements — comprehensive assessments of how an organization builds software across the full SDLC and PDLC, where AI can change the economics, and what a credible multi-phase roadmap looks like. You then lead the execution programs that follow, coordinating Agentic Architects across parallel workstreams and driving outcomes against the plan you set. Your clients are PE portfolio companies, growth-stage software businesses, and enterprise engineering organizations where transformation decisions are made at the C-suite and board level. What You'll Do - Transformation Strategy - Lead AI transformation blueprint engagements: current-state assessment across SDLC and PDLC, gap analysis, and prioritized initiative roadmap - Run executive discovery with CTOs, CPOs, and VP Engineering to surface strategic goals, constraints, and success criteria - Assess AI adoption posture across engineering and product functions — tooling, workflows, org design, delivery practices - Define initiative sequencing: what to address first, what to automate, where to standardize - Develop board-ready transformation cases that connect AI investment to PE value creation metrics — revenue per head, time-to-feature, delivery predictability - Facilitate executive alignment workshops that move stakeholders from awareness to decision - Execution Leadership - Lead multi-team AI transformation programs following blueprint delivery - Coordinate Agentic Architects across parallel workstreams; translate roadmap priorities into sprint-level milestones and delivery plans - Own the executive-sponsor relationship through delivery close - Step into Agentic Architect responsibilities on engagements where hands-on execution is required - Business Development - Shape follow-on scope throughout blueprint delivery — by handoff you have a working hypothesis for the execution program - Present the execution proposal at blueprint readout - Surface expansion signals across the client organization and route them to the account team - Internal Contribution - Codify transformation methodology: translate blueprint and execution patterns into reusable frameworks for the practice - Mentor Agentic Architects on executive engagement, strategic framing, and scoping Qualifications - Significant experience across 12+ years across software development, technical consulting, or a combination, with demonstrable knowledge / experience on both SDLC and PDLC sides of a software organization - Proven success 5+ years leading transformation, strategy, or technical advisory engagements with engineering and product organizations - Hands-on experience with Claude Code or equivalent AI-assisted development tools in a real workflow - Experience building and presenting technology transformation roadmaps to C-level and board audiences - Strong working knowledge of modern SDLC (CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-native) and product development (agile delivery, roadmapping, product operations) - Experience sizing and sequencing multi-team, multi-quarter transformation programs - Prior professional services delivery experience with scope ownership and deliverable accountability Requirements - Certified Claude Architect - Background in PE or growth-equity-backed software companies — understand value creation timelines and board expectations - Experience leading programs that span engineering and product simultaneously - Familiarity with developer experience and delivery metrics frameworks (DORA, DevEx, SPACE) - Experience designing AI governance and adoption guardrails for enterprise organizations - Direct experience building or operating agentic AI systems in production Benefits - Medical Insurance for you and eligible dependents - 100% remote work - 401k plan with company match up to 4% and immediate vesting - Competitive phantom equity - Company issued laptop - Dental and Vision insurance - Term Disability Insurance - Term Life Insurance - Flexible Spending Account - Equipment & Office Stipend - Annual stipend for Learning and Development - Unlimited Paid Time Off, following a 90-day probationary period - 10 Paid Holidays

Specialists in safe and secure data migration, transformation and archiving

Full TimeRemoteTeam 51-200Since 1984H1B No Sponsor

Role Description We are seeking an exceptional graduate to join Stalis as a generalist across our technical and operational functions. You will work closely with teams across the business, developing a deep understanding of how healthcare data moves through our systems and identifying opportunities to apply programming, modern tooling, and AI to improve how we work. Over time, as Stalis’s data intelligence capability matures, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to machine learning and analytics work that shapes our next generation of products. This is a broad role, and not every task will be glamorous. Much of the early value comes from genuinely understanding how work is done at Stalis today - which means doing the work, not just observing it. Some of your time will be spent on detailed, careful data tasks that are essential to our clients. The opportunity is to use that understanding as the foundation for automation, improvement, and new capability. The best ideas will come from the ground up, and we expect you to find them. What you’ll actually do: - Work alongside our data migration and engineering teams on live client projects, contributing to the day-to-day delivery of healthcare data work. - Identify inefficiencies, repetitive tasks, and fragile processes - and build the scripts, tools, and small systems that fix them. - Write and maintain code, primarily in Python & SQL, to automate workflows, process data, and support internal operations. - Apply and experiment with AI tooling - LLMs, embeddings, classifiers - to problems across the business where they add real value, and be honest about where they don’t. - Communicate your work clearly, in writing and in person, to colleagues who are not data scientists - so that your improvements get adopted rather than sidelined. - Over time, contribute to Stalis’s emerging data science and machine learning capability, including schema mapping, clinical data analytics, and data products. Qualifications - Academic background: A strong degree from a top university in a quantitative or technical discipline - physics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or similar. - Genuine technical aptitude: Comfortable writing code, and keen to write more of it. You should already be writing code for fun, coursework, or projects, and be able to pick up new tools quickly. - AI-savvy: Fluent with modern AI tools as a day-to-day part of how you work and think. - Self-directed: You find problems, scope them yourself, and take them to a useful end state without being spoon-fed tasks. - Discerning and pragmatic: You can tell the difference between a problem worth solving properly and one worth a fifty-line script today. - Strong communicator, in writing especially: You can write a short memo or a handover document that brings people along. - Emotionally intelligent: You can read a room, win people over, and work collaboratively with colleagues who know things you don’t. - Domain-humble: You are curious about how Stalis works today before you try to change it. Benefits - Unusual breadth of exposure for a graduate role - you will see how a specialist healthcare data company actually runs, from the data up. - A path into machine learning and data science work as Stalis’s data intelligence capability develops, with real problems and real data to work on. - Direct access to senior colleagues, reporting to the Head of Data Science, and genuine influence over how the company evolves. - A role that will grow as quickly as you do.
