• Own our next phase of design across Zoo’s full ecosystem, including product, website, tutorials, documentation, brand, and marketing surfaces • Design intuitive product experiences and workflows for complex technical tools • Support website design and optimization, improving storytelling, conversion, visual polish, and brand consistency • Create tutorials, onboarding flows, product education assets, and visual learning content that help users adopt the platform quickly • Build, maintain, and evolve a scalable design system in Figma across product and web experiences • Design wireframes, prototypes, polished UI, graphics, presentations, and launch assets as needed • Partner closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented with high quality and strong user experience standards • Collaborate with leadership on brand direction, creative strategy, and company-wide visual identity • Gather user feedback, run usability testing, and continuously improve experiences across customer touchpoints • Document systems, workflows, and design processes to create leverage as the company scales • Raise the quality bar across the company through strong taste, thoughtful execution, and user-centered thinking

• Product Drawing & CAD Modeling: Translate verbal concepts, rough sketches, and physical prototypes into fully dimensioned, production-ready CAD files (SolidWorks or equivalent) capable of being executed by CNC operators, woodworkers, and fabricators without additional interpretation. • Material Specification & Cut Planning: Specify materials for each design (MDF, hardwood, metal, composites, and other custom materials), produce accurate cut lists, and document all tolerances and joinery methods so that any qualified shop can execute the build without back-and-forth. • Prototype Iteration Support: Revise and update drawings based on physical prototype feedback, making incremental changes as designs evolve from concept through consumer-ready form. • Assembly Documentation: Develop clear, consumer-friendly assembly instructions and diagrams that allow end customers to receive and assemble finished products without frustration or confusion. • Product Visualization & Marketing Assets: Produce short illustrative render videos and 3D visual mock-ups of designs suitable for pre-order campaigns, deposit collection, and customer-facing marketing prior to first production run. • Design Library Management: Maintain an organized, version-controlled archive of all completed and in-progress designs, enabling rapid retrieval and handoff to fabricators, manufacturers, or new team members as the product catalog scales.

You can independently generate and land a compelling direction from zero to one. • Master Micro-Interactions: Design and prototype the subtle moments of delight—fluid button states, haptic feedback pairings, and seamless transitions that make the product feel genuinely alive. • Highlight the Human Touch: Craft visual bridges that celebrate and elevate the vital connection between our members and their dedicated human care teams. • Operate with Speed & Bias for Action: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by driving rapid iteration and deployment. You expertly balance high-velocity execution with scalable, long-term visual integrity. • Navigate Strategic Trade-offs: Be a relentlessly open and collaborative partner. While highly autonomous, you know when to push for absolute perfection, when to pull back, and how to make the necessary design trade-offs to keep cross-functional projects moving forward without sacrificing the core experience. • Ensure Seamless Integration: Partner closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineering to ensure your motion assets (via Lottie/Rive) are easily implemented and perform flawlessly across iOS and Android. • Other duties as assigned
