• You'll be a core engineer building out the next generation of our platform • Building new report tools end-to-end: from ingesting Amazon reports (CSV/Excel uploads today, APIs soon) to aggregating data across sources and producing the bulk operations files clients use to make changes on Amazon • Owning features across the stack: NestJS APIs, Postgres data models, React frontends, and the AWS plumbing that ties it together • Working closely with our team to translate Amazon seller workflows into clean, reliable software • Contributing to our shift toward fully automated data flow with Amazon SP-API and Ads API • Helping integrate AI-powered insights into reports as we build that layer out

• Support programmes of work in the area of software development for digital innovation and technology applications. • Develop advanced application capabilities for analysts, enabling the exploration, analysis, and synthesis of strategic foresight data through complex, multi-step user workflows, including cross-article reasoning, topic engineering, source intelligence, and relevance assessment. • Develop full-stack integrations with AI-enabled backend services, exposing AI-driven analytical functions, retrieval mechanisms, and automated synthesis capabilities in a controlled and user-transparent manner. • Apply sound software design principles to ensure transparent, auditable, and controllable analytical workflows, including clear traceability between inputs, sources, AI-assisted reasoning steps, and generated outputs, suitable for high-trust analytical and policy environments. • Deliver deployment-ready solutions compatible with restricted and secure environments, including systems operating under governance, security, and operational constraints beyond standard commercial environments.

• You will be the senior technical leader for Groups Shopping at Engine. • Help drive the work, set the technical bar, and make sure we ship with high quality. • Optimizing how we score, sort, and present properties. • Groups is heading toward an order-of-magnitude increase in volume. • Define and ship the AI surfaces in the product. • Own architecture for Groups Shopping. • Code review on hard PRs, design review on every meaningful change. • Pairing with senior engineers, running design reviews, writing documentation.

• Build internal AI agents, agent-oriented workflows, and AI-enabled engineering tools • Solve ambiguous technical problems and help determine practical paths forward • Design integrations across systems such as Jira, documentation platforms, repositories, APIs, and internal tooling • Improve engineering workflows, developer productivity, and SDLC automation • Build scalable backend services, APIs, and supporting platform components • Anticipate technical and operational challenges as solutions scale across engineering teams • Communicate clearly with engineering, product, and platform stakeholders to move ideas from concept into production-ready solutions • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing as the team builds new AI-enabled capabilities • Support practical patterns around observability, reliability, testing, CI/CD, and operational support for AI-enabled systems
