Role Description The Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end implementation of a new HR and payroll system in Mexico. This temporary, part‑time position will support the project based on scope, milestones, and overall progress. The role partners closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and the external vendor to ensure a smooth, timely, and compliant deployment. - Lead the full project lifecycle for the HR and payroll system implementation in Mexico, from planning through go‑live and stabilization. - Serve as the primary point of contact between internal HR stakeholders and the external system vendor. - Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports. - Facilitate requirements gathering, documentation, and validation with HR and Payroll teams. - Coordinate system configuration, testing (UAT), data migration, and integration activities. - Ensure compliance with Mexican labor, payroll, and data privacy regulations throughout the project. - Identify project risks and issues, drive resolution, and escalate when needed. - Support change management, communication, and training efforts for end users. - Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business needs. - Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role related to project management. - Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and external vendors. - Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive accountability. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Requirements - This temporary, part time role based in California pays $90-$135 per hour based on geography, experience and education. - This role is not eligible for benefits or paid time off.
