Grid Automation Protection & Control Systems Engineering Leader
GE Vernova
• Lead and guide a team of highly skilled protection and control engineers. • Oversee the full project lifecycle for protection and control system, feature design, specification, simulation, modeling, implementation. • Champion the adoption of new technologies for digital substation to enhance grid automation and protection. • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to support integration of protection algorithms into products.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; master’s degree a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in power system protection and control engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of engineers.
- Proven record of writing and presenting papers at industry conferences
- Experience with industry standards and regulations related to power system protection and control.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
