IT Project Manager
High Tech Genesis
• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects related to data architecture, data platforms, and data governance initiatives. • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and deliverables. • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data architects, engineers, platform teams, governance leads, and business stakeholders. • Ensure alignment of project outcomes with enterprise data strategy, architecture standards, and governance frameworks. • Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes. • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, workshops, and regular status reporting to senior leadership. • Drive implementation of data governance processes, policies, and controls where applicable. • Support platform modernization, data integration, and data management initiatives. • Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and data management standards. • Track and communicate project performance metrics and delivery outcomes. • Promote best practices in project management, delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of IT project management experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale or complex technology initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with project governance, risk management, and change management processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience delivering projects involving one or more of the following:
- o Data architecture initiatives
- o Enterprise data platforms or cloud data platforms
- o Data governance frameworks and implementation
- o Data management, integration, or data quality programs
- Understanding of enterprise data ecosystems and data lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with modern data technologies, data platforms, or data infrastructure environments.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, enterprise architecture, and data-driven solutions.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
- Experience working with technical teams including architects, engineers, and platform specialists.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master) considered an asset.
