Mastercam

• Provide comprehensive human resources support across Canada, focusing on Quebec and Ontario. • Act as a trusted partner to managers and employees covering key HR functions within the employee life cycle, including Employee Relations, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Employee Development, Policy Management, Training, and Compliance. • Counsel managers and employees on performance management processes, ensuring adherence and timely execution. • Investigate violations of policy and educate managers on compliance. • Conduct exit interview sessions, analyze data, and recommend corrective actions and improvements. • Partner with Managers to support Employee Engagement; foster the development of engagement initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in HR, Labor Relations or related field.
  • CPHR certification desired; equivalent certifications considered.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws, Quebec employment legislation, and HR best practices.
  • Bilingual (English/French) required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience leading employee relations, performance investigations and constructive disciplinary processes.
  • Background in employment law, with experience supporting a corporate HR function, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team, to support the overall strategy and departmental goals.
  • Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to use sound judgement independently as needed.
