Key Account Manager

• Spend 30% of your time nurturing and growing existing Agfa customer accounts. • Spend 70% of your time prospecting and building a healthy pipeline funnel for Agfa Radiology Solutions across London and the North of England. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market research. • Generate leads through networking, industry events, and digital channels. • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand market presence. • Build strong relationships with key clients and ensure sustained business growth. • Tailor strategies to meet the specific needs and goals of key accounts. • Monitor and analyse account performance and identify opportunities for improvement. • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs. • Prepare and deliver customer-facing sales presentations. • Handle contract negotiations and close deals. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business development. • Address client needs and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. • Use market analysis to inform strategic decisions and provide recommendations to senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Degree level in Science, Business, Marketing, or a radiography / imaging related field or background.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in sales and business development in the healthcare imaging equipment or medical device capital equipment.
  • Preferable experience in Radiology solutions and/or capital equipment.
  • Strong network within hospitals and relevant departments within the territory.
  • Proficient in strategic selling concepts and/or comparable sales processes and tools.
  • Experienced with planning and developing complex businesses cases within budget limitations.
  • Strong team player able to maintain a high level of quality in a continually changing environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and organize time effectively to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Analytical mind and solid process orientation.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
  • Willing to travel up to 70 % of time prospecting and developing ‘New Business’ opportunities.
