• Deliver pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, presentations, technical guidance, proofs of concept, and RFx responses • Be the go-to technical expert on solutions for customers, partners, and internal teams • Establish enduring relationships with customers and become their trusted advisor • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver revenue. • Coordinate, throughout sales cycle, pre-sales efforts with a post-sales service delivery team • Meeting, both virtually and in-person to deliver presentations, whiteboarding sessions, and demonstrations of Ping solutions and their value to customers, partners, and industry events • Provide insightful feedback on product enhancements and customer needs to product owners. • Develop subject matter expert level knowledge of at least one of Ping Identity's solutions • Able to travel up to 30% of the time (typically less)

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience with enterprise-level software systems in a customer-facing role, such as pre-sales, consulting, support, or training.
  • A demonstrable interest in computer security or cybersecurity, applied or theoretical.
  • Knowledge of open standards and protocols relating to identity and security would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with using REST APIs and working with JSON data to integrate with web services is essential.
  • Knowledge of key foundational infrastructure and networking technologies such as virtual machines, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, load balancers, proxies, etc.
  • Experience with one or more typical cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and deployment technologies such as Kubernetes and Terraform would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the growing use of agentic AI in customer environments and the role identity plays in securing AI agents.
  • Engaging interpersonal and customer service skills: verbal, written, and listening/understanding.
  • Ability to relate proposed solution technical capabilities back to customer needs in a narrative style.
  • Ability to work with a high level of self-direction and/or collaboratively with team and customers.
  • BSc in Software Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • A passion for learning; the ability to learn in a self-directed way and to seek out help and guidance when it is required.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Fluent English language skills.
