• Development & implementation of comprehensive business plans to address funding issues in the UK POC market. • Mapping or defining with local payers, clear pathways to product adoption ensuring evidence aligns with local evaluation needs. • Engage directly and nurture relationships with stakeholders at local, regional and national level to improve access and unlock funding for Point-of-Care • Evaluate threats and opportunities arising out of legislation, regulations, health technology assessments from Governments, health authorities, public and private payers & determine their implications alongside internal stakeholders. • Where required, develop local evidence in collaboration with cross-functional groups from marketing, medical affairs and commercial • Shape and manage the external environment and the effect of payer/health policy through mapping the decision-making process, identifying the key stakeholders and presenting data and evidence to gain support and momentum to drive national POC adoption and funding • Ensure full representation and participation of market access function in country commercial team strategy and meetings.
Job Requirements
- Significant experience working in the field of Market Access, specifically within UK & with established networks with Payers, senior NHS managers
- Detailed knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including payer/provider environment
- Experience working within the Diagnostics sector preferred, ideally with experience working closely with payers to gain funding for diagnostic solutions
- Strong commercial acumen & payer negotiation skills
- Degree level essential, Masters level or PhD in a relevant field preferred (e.g. health economics)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritise & manage complex projects

• Reviewing and analyzing medical billing and coding for processing while assisting with client management and managing the coding team. • Adheres to the ICD-9/ICD-10 coding conventions, official coding guidelines approved by CPT, AMA, AAOS, and CCI. • Consults physicians for clarification and additional documentation prior to code assignment when there is conflicting or ambiguous data in the health record. • Strives for the optimal payment to which the facility is legally entitled. • Assists and educates physicians and other clinicians by advocating proper documentation practices. • Adheres to OIG guidelines. • Ensures the coding site specifics are updated as needed for each center assigned. • Identifies and tracks all cases that are not able to be billed due to lacking information. • Responsible for properly performing month end tasks within the established timeframe including running month end reports for each center assigned and tracking of cases that are not yet billed for the month. • Client management, including emails, phone calls, and video meetings with client staff as well as physicians. • Aid clients in denial management and coding reviews. • Manage a coding team consisting of Team Leads and production coders. • Productivity management of cases coded. • Approve employee time and payroll entries. • Provide training and ongoing education to coders.
