Role Description As a ML Quality Assurance Engineer at Derq, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance of our computer vision and machine learning based products. You will work closely with our development team to design and execute comprehensive test strategies, identify and report defects, and help improve the overall quality of our customer facing AI products, using data analytics. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with AI development and product teams to understand product requirements and design effective test plans and test cases for AI based products - Strategize evaluation methodologies, gathering data and evaluation reporting - Perform data analytics on large datasets - Monitor and track anomalies within product’s content and statistics - Train and deploy ML models to help boost product performance - Create and maintain detailed documentation of test processes, methodologies, and findings - Keep up to date with advancements in the field to optimize internal processes and workflows - Interface and coordinate with Engineering team - Foster a collaborative, proactive team environment that values shared success. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in an analytical domain such as Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related discipline - Python, Javascript and SQL Knowledge/Experience - Familiarity with classical Machine Learning Models such as Random Forest, SVM, Naive Bayes - Core understanding of mathematical concepts for statistical inference - Hands on with spreadsheet based querying and analytics - Proficient with annotation tools such as CVAT - Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.) - Good command of English both oral and written and reporting skills - Knowledge of basic statistical principles coupled with logical thinking, coherent reasoning and a detail-oriented attitude
• Design and develop test plans and cases to validate client and IT applications. • Analyze and translate business requirements and technical specifications into functionally sound test plans and cases. • Produce quality testing deliverables (Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Conditions Matrices, Test Data, Test Scripts and Test Status and Defect Reporting) • Perform manual testing. Writing complex SQL queries to verify data • Develop modular, reusable, and maintainable automated tests to be integrated into the automation framework • Document testing results, troubleshoot and escalate issues and risks • Participate in the defect management process and track defects through to completion, including collaborating with Engineers, Product Owners, and User Experience Architects • Coordinate with offshore testers. • Effectively communicate status to the team; anticipate delays and obstacles and escalate as appropriate • Support user acceptance testing. • Assist with and support the test automation strategy and standards including processes, frameworks, and tools. • Participate in the development and implementation of QA processes and tools. • Successfully handle multiple, concurrent testing projects • Perform other duties as needed
• Establish and lead the QA/QC function for structural and mechanical repair projects • Develop repair quality policies, procedures, and inspection frameworks aligned with industry standards, best practices and Reworld’s Operations and Maintenance Standards • Provide technical oversight during planning, execution, and closeout phases of repair projects • Advise senior leadership on quality risks, mitigation strategies, and compliance status • Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) compliant with appropriate standards • Ensure adherence to applicable codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, AISC, ASTM, and relevant industry regulations • Provide technical reviews of repair scopes, drawings, contractor procedures, and engineering packages to ensure compliance with standards and best practices • Oversee or drive guidance for the oversight of structural inspections, mechanical integrity assessments, and repair validations directly at our facilities • Act as the technical point of contact for site teams and contractors during repair execution, where required • Lead root cause analysis for failures and non-conformances, as needed • Identify systemic quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence • Coordinate across engineering, operations, safety, and maintenance groups to ensure alignment on repair priorities, quality standards and cost budgets
