Job Description

Head of Sales

Kempower

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategy for the Canadian market • Identify regulatory shifts and competitive moves before they hit the mainstream • Own the revenue and margins. Ensure deal structures are aggressive enough to win but built for long-term serviceability • Collaborate with Regional and Global Teams to integrate regional market intelligence with global product roadmaps • Lead multi-million dollar RFP/RFQ processes and MSAs with the largest players in the EV space • Maintain 100% data integrity in Salesforce • Recruit, onboard, and coach a technical sales force to navigate complex utility interconnections and power distribution discussions

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within EV charging, renewables, or heavy-tech infrastructure
  • Deep knowledge of the Canadian regulatory landscape
  • Technical Fluency: You can hold your own discussing load balancing, power distribution, and charging standards (CCS/NACS)
  • Experience managing a P&L and a track record of translating field feedback into product requirements
  • Willingness to Travel: Up to 50% to be where the deals happen. Located in Quebec or Vancouver areas
