About This Opportunity This position will be responsible for the support and development of monitoring and automation platforms in network, cloud, and related infrastructure environments. Integrating these tools with our processes, environments, and teams in support of network engineering is our primary focus. This position will primarily function remotely, but the candidate must be able to work in multiple Atlanta area data centers when needed. Responsibilities - Develop expertise in the use of our network tools. - Ensure proper monitoring and alerting for network tools. - Ensure compliance to relevant internal and external standards for network tools. - Support and document network tool processes for internal and external customers. - Extend capabilities for network automation, services, and monitoring tools through the development of drivers and utility scripts, primarily in PowerShell and Python. - OS maintenance of Windows and Linux servers, as well as network appliances. - Application maintenance for automation, monitoring, and services environments. - Hardware/appliance maintenance for automation, monitoring, and services environments. - Function well in a shared programming environment using version control tools, testing tools, and issue tracking (Git, JIRA, Postman). - Use well thought out designs and processes to eliminate downtime for network tools whenever possible.
