Position Summary: This position is responsible for developing the proposals for Benshaw custom solutions for key accounts and brand partners, initiating the kick-off meetings with engineering once the proposals become orders, and high-level project-management of the orders through front-end communications. This position also requires managing all technical communications to support the proposals and the sales team. The selected candidate shall be capable of rapidly reviewing multiple specifications, prioritize RFQ’s based on customer agreements and priorities, and manage all outside communications related to pre-sales and technical questions. The candidate may also need to travel to support the sales team by providing the technical background on Benshaw products. Location: Remote (within the United States) Primary Responsibilities: - Works closely with external sales teams and customers to provide application specific designs and solutions - Identifies and interprets technical requirements, deliverables, dates and other noteworthy programmatic details/constraints - Determines if the order should be led by a Program Manager and, if so, coordinates handoff and provides support. - Reviews contractual terms and conditions and attends bidder’s conferences where applicable - Prepares total quotation package and provides front end support - Maintains CRM and quote logs for all proposals and key accounts, and provides KPI information for regular business reviews. - Provides key insights and guidance to Program Management, commercial teams, and customers regarding product configuration, standardization, and front-end process optimization. Overview We are designing the grid of the future! Conduct power system studies which particularly relate to existing and future NERC and regional reliability standards. This position will have specific emphasis placed on generator modeling and protection setting coordination. Responsibilities How you can make an impact: - Perform detailed bulk power system studies using various power system software such as PSCAD, PSS/e, TSAT, etc. - Conduct IBR modeling: steady state, short circuit and dynamic in PSSE - Perform various compliance technical assessment on IBR facility rating, protection coordination, ride through assessment. - Process, generate and maintain data as required for other engineering related studies. - Prepare technical study reports for all studies performed. - Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives. - Identify training needs and present to the Senior Manager of NERC Compliance. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Identify training needs and present to the Engineering Manager as needed. - Perform other duties, as assigned.
