Role Description We are looking for a Manual Quality Assurance Analyst to design, execute, and manage comprehensive testing strategies that ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software solutions. The role involves developing end-to-end test plans, executing both manual and automated tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps environment. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with automation tools, and a solid background in ensuring high-quality software delivery. This position will be full-time and remote. What You’ll Do - Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system standards and user requirements are met - Write, manage, and execute test plans - Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios - Leverage JIRA, SQL, and other testing tools in the execution of Quality Assurance activities - Gain understanding of operating environment, business processes, and application functionality - Experience with Mobile testing on different platforms and operating systems - Author the Test Suite - test scenarios and test cases traceable to requirements in order to validate the application deliverables - Validate data and reports using SQL and other tools (where needed) - Prioritize and plan quality control activities across a large project, and report on product quality regularly - Responsible for risk assessment for each release and contribute to bug reporting and triage - Identify, document, and track issues found during testing - Coordinate with developers and project team members to triage and resolve issues - Determine, communicate, and execute the appropriate testing strategy for each deliverable - Evaluate the performance of automation systems or processes, finds improvement opportunities - Responsible for repeatable test automation or manual at all three levels of the Agile Test Pyramid - Addresses client's requirements and resolves complex problems related to industrial automation systems architecture or process implementation Qualifications - 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area - Manual API testing skills - Strong Test case writing skills (Can think of positive and negative cases on the spot based on any requirements provided) - Strong testing skills - Well versed in JIRA - Can plan testing strategy for optimal proficiency and delivery - Someone that can clearly explain bugs and an approach to resolve bugs - Articulate, friendly, cheerful, outgoing personality - Can mentor team members and be a team player - Strong proactiveness, eager to learn and have the right attitude - Working knowledge of Quality testing and business process analysis, concepts, practices, and procedures in the Agile/DevOps environment - Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners Physical Demands - Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions - Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. - Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Reasonable Accommodation Statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111.
