Role Description The University of Wisconsin Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Research Scientist to serve as the on-site research leader of Dr. Tamara Scerpella’s longitudinal study of Bone Health, based at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. This position will facilitate all aspects of the lab’s research, collaborating between SUNY Upstate Medical University and the University of Wisconsin to ensure ongoing research continues, and will be a key team member in preparation and of publications and delivery of presentations based upon this work. This position is part-time, 50% and will be remote, requiring work to be performed at an offsite, non-campus work location. This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
