• Bishop Fox is looking for experienced contract penetration testers with a primary focus in web application security and strong secondary expertise in cloud, mobile, source code, network, or AI/LLM security. • You’ll work on a range of projects, from short-term assessments to longer-term program engagements with well-established clients. • In this role, you’ll identify vulnerabilities, validate risk, develop creative solutions, and clearly communicate findings and remediation guidance to both technical and executive stakeholders. As a trusted advisor, you’ll help clients understand risk and make informed security decisions.

• Participate in the Margin team’s full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and test planning to execution, defect tracking, product delivery, and maintenance, with a strong focus on Java / Rust-based trading and risk systems. • Work closely with software engineers, product managers, designers, and operations teams to provide insights and feedback on system design, testing strategies, and implementation for margin trading products and risk control features. • Set up and manage testing environments, developing detailed and well-structured test plans and cases for complex trading workflows, margin calculations, liquidation processes, and high-concurrency systems. • Perform extensive testing including black-box, white-box, security, automation, and performance testing across web, mobile, backend, and distributed systems. • Stay up to date with the latest Java / Rust technologies and testing methodologies, continuously improving automation frameworks, testing efficiency, and overall product quality.

Role Description As a Senior Test Engineer (Senior Associate) in Kainos, you’ll work within a multi-skilled agile team, developing and executing functional automated and manual tests to help the team deliver working application software that meets user needs. You’ll do this whilst learning about new technologies and approaches, with talented colleagues who will help you learn, develop and grow. Qualifications - Proven ability to learn a new business domain or architecture quickly and provide an excellent client experience. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical detail to non-technical audiences. - Able to create, edit and manage the execution of automated tests covering both front and back-end, created in a coding language/tool (one of the following: Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured). - Demonstrable experience of using cloud architecture & being part of an Agile (Kanban, Scrum etc) team. - Experience working in Continuous Integration environment and using tools such as Jenkins and/or TeamCity. - Experience with version control systems such as Git/SVN. - Experience of the fundamental concepts of Testing and Quality Assurance and demonstrable experience of improving the testing process. - Knowledge or experience of at least one type of Non-functional testing. Requirements - Experience using cloud-based testing platforms such as Browserstack or Saucelabs. - Experience producing Assurance artefacts such as Test Plans, reports and/or Metrics. - Experience testing APIs, microservices, databases and using SQL.
