CSGCSG delivers innovative customer engagement solutions that help you acquire, monetize, engage and retain customers.
• You will help design, build, and operate engineering solutions that keep CSG’s internal services, work management platforms, and operational tooling reliable and efficient. • You’ll work primarily on integrations and automation across systems like Helix ITSM, Azure DevOps (ADO), Atlassian, MyCSG, and Jitterbit, with a strong focus on data migration, synchronization, and workflow automation. • You will participate in design and delivery of medium-sized features and components across the full application development lifecycle – build, test, deployment, hosting, monitoring, and continuous improvement – working closely with architects, senior engineers, product owners, and support SMEs. • You will implement REST API integrations between Jira/Helix/ADO and other internal systems. • You will contribute to Jitterbit (Private Agent Group) integrations, including configuration and scripting. • You will support data migration tooling (e.g., Jira → ADO) across extract, transform, validate, and load stages. • You will build checks and scripts to keep records in sync across Helix, Jira/ADO, and other systems. • You will partner with senior engineers on migration strategy and validation rules. • You will deliver features in C#/.NET using Visual Studio and Git / Azure DevOps Repos. • You will contribute to Azure Pipelines CI/CD for builds, tests, and deployments. • You will help develop and support web apps and services. • You will implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for integrations and services. • You will help triage and resolve production issues across Helix, ADO, Atlassian, Jitterbit, and related flows. • You will maintain runbooks and operational checks and participate in support/on-call rotations with guidance. • You will participate in design discussions and estimations with senior engineers and architects. • You will work closely with product, operations, and support teams to turn requirements into robust solutions. • You will share knowledge through documentation, demos, and cross-training sessions.
• Design and own high-throughput, distributed data pipelines and platform infrastructure from concept through production • Decompose large, ambiguous initiatives into structured, executable plans that the team can move on in parallel • Write production-grade Python — strongly typed, well-structured, and built to last — not scripts or notebooks • Optimize SQL at scale: query tuning, data modeling, and understanding execution plans • Architect across boundaries — defining contracts between frontend, backend services, and infrastructure • Be a technical resource and mentor for junior engineers, and partner directly with leadership on roadmap and technical decisions • Instrument systems for observability — knowing what to monitor, not just how to read a dashboard
• Build and ship full-stack features end-to-end, from backend APIs to polished member-facing UI • Design scalable systems and make deliberate architectural tradeoffs between performance, maintainability, and speed to ship • Integrate AI tools and LLM APIs into product workflows where they add real value • Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code with a high bar for quality • Partner with product, design, and stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into great software • Contribute to engineering standards through code reviews, technical discussion, and better defaults
• Own the technical success of an engagement, ensuring architectural coherence and reuse across services, data, and AI components • Drive technical decisions and document them as ADRs: database engine selection, service vs library boundaries, and integration patterns • Lead architecture review boards and resolve cross-team design dependencies • Set engineering standards: trunk-based development, IaC (Terraform/Bicep), CI gates, SLSA L2 provenance, OpenAPI 3.x and AsyncAPI 2.x contracts, and idempotent integration patterns • Lead code and design reviews; enforce quality gates and SOC 2 control mappings (logical access, monitoring, change management, audit trail) • Plan and orchestrate delivery cadence, including sequencing of build and release windows for engagements with production blackout constraints • Partner with client product owners to translate domain knowledge into technical designs • Mentor engineers on Azure architecture, event sourcing, durable orchestration, and HITL design patterns • Run agile delivery in 2-week sprints with monthly stakeholder demos, hypercare planning, and post-go-live support
