Staff Enterprise Architect
GE Vernova
• Design, build and run HPC platforms on AWS Cloud. • Engineer and maintain software configuration, deployment, and automation processes • Troubleshoot and resolve recurring platform issues with scalable, long-term solutions • Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency • Use AI/ML-driven approaches to optimize infrastructure utilization, workload performance, and operations • Collaborate with engineering, cloud, and operations teams to deliver robust HPC solutions • Deliver architecture roadmaps and projects to fulfill product rollout needs and business driven outcomes • Contribute to long term architecture and implementation of GE Vernova Compute strategy. • Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction. • Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint. • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities. • Coach and mentor team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- 5–7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, or systems architecture
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud environments
- Strong background in Linux administration, automation, and software deployment
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and configuration management
- Knowledge of HPC schedulers, storage, and networking
- Proven ability to identify root causes and solve systemic technical issues
- Familiarity with applying AI/ML techniques for optimization and operational improvement
