Role Description Core responsibilities focus your efforts as the lead functional consultant for Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Systems solution implementations for customers across the Americas region. In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products in the Warehouse Management space, as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations. You will be the functional liaison across key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution. - Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies. - Apply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how the Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements/business processes. - Lead solution design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timeline. - Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to our steady state associates. - Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfaction. - Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints, and/or product roadmaps. - Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects. - Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements. Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of specific experience working within Blue Yonder’s Warehouse Management Systems (WMS Discrete version 9.1 and above preferred), either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers. - Additionally relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as HighJump, Manhattan, or SAP is a plus. - Current or prior experience working in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center preferred. Requirements - Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, inventory optimization concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required. - Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required. Education - Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Operations Research preferred. - Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree. In this role, you will build and maintain the APIs and services that power our publisher partnerships — integrating new publishers onto our platform and developing features that help win new business. You'll work across several backend services spanning REST and GraphQL APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, build, and maintain backend APIs and services that support publisher integrations and platform growth. - Develop and extend REST and GraphQL endpoints to serve internal and external consumers. - Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into well-architected technical solutions. - Write and maintain automated tests to ensure system reliability and prevent regressions. - Improve system performance, scalability, and observability across backend services. - Work with relational and non-relational databases to store, query, and manage application data. - Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions with the engineering team. - Support the integration of new publisher partners by building the tooling and APIs that enable seamless onboarding. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - 1–3 years of professional experience in a backend or full-stack engineering role. - Experience building or contributing to REST or GraphQL APIs. - Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL). - Familiarity with at least one backend language/framework — our stack is primarily PHP/Laravel, but we value engineering fundamentals over specific language experience. - Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis) is a plus. - Experience working at a SaaS company or in a B2B environment is a plus. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and CI/CD practices. - Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset — you're comfortable asking questions and working across teams. - Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as needed.
