Title: Senior Software Engineer Location: India Job Description: Location Details: India, Remote At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely. This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. Join our team... GoDaddy is building a central developer platform that changes how thousands of engineers deploy their applications. It's a single pane of glass for application deployment: commoditized infrastructure, opinionated patterns, and expert runtime support so developers can focus on their product instead of AWS plumbing. The platform orchestrates across multiple AWS accounts, enforces compliance standards automatically through the platform itself, and serves as a foundation that other teams build managed services on top of. We have hundreds of applications on the platform already, but we've only just begun — database management and broader service coverage are on the horizon. This is a software development role covering the full range, from automating infrastructure to adding features to our UI and everything in between. We are a team of seven engineers supported by a dedicated SRE team of three, collaborating remotely across time zones from the US to India What you'll get to do... - Deliver features that bring immediate value to our customers who are our GoDaddy Engineers around the globe - Continuously work to improve resilience and quality - Address and tackle problems and collaborate with customers - Build towards a good end-to-end developer experience across all our internal platforms - Learn new tech skills with a very modern stack that includes quite a range of different technologies Your experience should include... - 6+ years of experience building production‑grade systems using TypeScript and Node.js in a platform or full‑stack environment - Strong experience designing and building distributed systems on AWS - Hands‑on expertise with AWS CDK for infrastructure as code - Ability to design scalable, reliable systems with a strong focus on engineering quality - Proven mentoring and technical leadership experience, guiding engineers and influencing technical decisions You might also have... - Experience with React.js - Experience with Elasticsearch for observability, monitoring, or logging use cases - Familiarity with broader observability patterns and tooling - Exposure to agentic or AI‑assisted coding approaches - Experience working on platform or developer‑facing systems We've got your back... We offer a range of total rewards that may include paid time off, retirement savings (e.g., 401k, pension schemes), bonus/incentive eligibility, equity grants, participation in our employee stock purchase plan, competitive health benefits, and other family-friendly benefits including parental leave. GoDaddy’s benefits vary based on individual role and location and can be reviewed in more detail during the interview process. We also embrace our diverse culture and offer a range of Employee Resource Groups (Culture). Have a side hustle? No problem. We love entrepreneurs! Most importantly, come as you are and make your own way. We encourage you to apply even if your experience or skillset doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement.
