Role Description Primarily responsible for the identification of on-premises to Cloud solutions for clients using company products, and/or proprietary tools/techniques that others implement. Define client needs and develop a plan and proposal for delivery of the Cloud project. Viewed by customers as a consultant. This position should be used for individuals who are actively and regularly meeting with and presenting to clients. As a Cloud Economics Consultant you will: - Provide Workshops (Performance or Fundamental) to help customers develop a Cloud strategy by discussing Cloud best practices, cost savings, cloud license compliance, and efficiency. - Complete Cloud projects to identify Cloud sizing a customer has/will enable by analyzing client server utilization data and purchase/invoice history reports. - Complete comparison of sizing and Cloud possible optimization. Write and provide an Executive Summary that includes suggestions to migrate/optimize the customer’s environment. - Analyze and interpret customer needs, while instructing follow-up actions to additional Insight members. Ensure clients have connected with Insight members as next steps or additional services. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years in the Cloud industry including but not limited to Cloud, Microsoft licensing, FinOps, and/or sales experience. - Cloud or software licensing knowledge is desired. - Willingness and ability to self-learn much of the Cloud compute information necessary to serve as a resource for Insight is required. - Excellent oral and interpersonal skills are a must. - Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills are also desired. - Knowledge of the sales process combined with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with both internal and external customers and executives. - Ability to understand company objectives and make decisions that balance customer needs with Insight solutions. Role Description This role is for an individual contributor Senior Solution Consultant. In addition to conducting discovery and demonstration meetings with prospects and customers, this is your opportunity to help scale out the Solution Consulting discipline from the ground up. You will assist with everything from creating demo environments, writing demo scripts, running technical AI workshops, maintaining discovery framework documents to working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to capture requirements for new products and features and align messaging cross-functionally.
