Territory Sales Manager

Ajax Systems

• Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our company across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba • Follow up on new business opportunities and arrange meetings with business partners • Planning and preparing presentations to business partners and other interested parties • Establishing and maintaining relationships with dealers and alarm receiving centers (monitoring stations) • Communicate product features, benefits, and developments to business partners • Deliver product and commercial education and training in conjunction with business partners • Actively encourage the specification of systems to include Ajax Systems products and solutions • Work closely with branded product distribution partners to fulfill the business partners’ requirements • Assist with the development of market strategies for Ajax Systems products and solutions • Assist with the development of vertical markets/ strategies for Ajax Systems products and solutions • Actively support marketing events and attend exhibitions related to Ajax Systems products and solutions • Assist in the overall growth of the Ajax Systems brand • Provide management with feedback based on requirements of current and future Ajax Systems products and solutions

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience within intrusion, CCTV or access control solutions
  • Great business sense
  • Deep understanding of industry standards, channels, and sectors
  • Technical competence with security products
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Data-Driven sales approach: ready to work with CRM and analytics tools
  • Ability to travel per business needs & valid drivers licence

Role Description The Curbing Sales Representative is responsible for driving specifications and sales of Polycor’s granite curbing through proactive engagement with DOTs, municipalities, engineering firms, master planners, and private developers. This role focuses on building product awareness, influencing project specifications, and ensuring Polycor stones are selected and maintained throughout the design and construction cycle. The rep acts as a trusted consultant — combining product expertise & design insight, skills to deliver results that align with Polycor’s growth strategy and premium product position. Key Responsibilities: - Curbing Specification & Design Development: - Promote Polycor’s granite curbing to DOTs, municipalities, engineering firms, master planners, and private developers, and secure project specifications through design and bid phases. - Conduct CEU presentations, lunch & learns, and engineering office visits, while providing samples, technical data, and design support. - Track specifications using CRM and project intelligence tools and defend them during value engineering or substitution challenges. - Relationship & Territory Development: - Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, including DOTs, municipalities, engineering firms, master planners, and private developers. - Expand influence within engineering firms and specification networks. - Participate in industry events, trade shows, and professional associations. - Build strategic partnerships with agents, fabricators, and installers and identify growth opportunities within the assigned territory. - Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise: - Maintain strong knowledge of Polycor’s granite curbing products, including quarry origins, finishes, and performance characteristics. - Position natural stone curbing advantages against competitive solutions (precast and cast-in-place concrete curbing, slipform, etc.). - Provide technical guidance on fabrication, installation, and maintenance requirements. - Collaborate closely with Estimating, Project Management, Operations, and technical teams to resolve project-specific challenges. - Brand Representation & Marketing Alignment: - Serve as the face of Polycor within the engineering and construction community. - Support marketing initiatives, local events, and case study development. - Ensure brand consistency across presentations, proposals, and events and share market feedback with internal teams. - Sales Performance & Reporting: - Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales and specification objectives. - Track and report on project pipelines, win/loss outcomes, and competitive intelligence. - Manage travel, expenses, and customer engagement activities responsibly.
