Implementation Specialist

• Oversee and facilitate dealership user training and support through the implementation lifecycle • Provide DMS training to dealership staff in all departments and have fun while doing it • Guide and direct additional implementation specialists assigned to the project to ensure high execution • Obtain critical milestone signoffs from key dealership contacts • Proactively identify implementation risks and mitigate them effectively and efficiently • Manage training and setup items in an organized manner, keeping detailed notes, and completing all checklist items in our implementation runbook • Must successfully complete an 8-10 week certification/training program and display a strong grasp of product and process knowledge retention • Demonstrated history of sustaining a positive attitude during high-stress situations with both dealer partners (DP) and internal teams • Fast-learner, and passionate ability to remain in-touch with fast-changing SaaS solutions • In-depth knowledge of the retail automotive industry, including common terminology and dealership process flows • Deep understanding of Tekion products, including end-user workflows and configurations • Knowledge and understanding of implementation processes, including adjacent internal teams role & responsibility with the project • Represent Tekion in a positive and professional way in all dealership interactions • Work closely with the Implementation manager to set and manage dealership expectations

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of DMS experience in the auto industry
  • Proven experience implementing SaaS solutions in large and small auto dealerships
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup environment is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interacting with all levels of stakeholders
  • Established ability to articulate technical jargon into consumable levels of understanding for adult learners
  • Ability to take customer suggestions or insights and translate them into technical deliverables for Tekion Product & Support teams
  • 3+ years in Project Management or Project Lead role is preferred
  • Travel (flying) is 90%
  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
