Role Description This position reports to the agency's Deputy Director. As a part of the agency’s leadership team, you will oversee SCC’s grant programs and program staff. You will supervise two Program Supervisors who are responsible for supervision of the program staff. Working closely with agency leadership and policy staff, you will lead, develop, and support agency strategy and vision related to program development and implementation to ensure program alignment with agency priorities. You will lead agency strategy on programmatic issues and updates, foster collaborative relationships to support program success, and ensure consistent implementation of agency policies and procedures across all program areas while providing agency-wide leadership, integration, and oversight of SCC’s grant programs and Science Hub. The programs team currently includes the following grant programs, collaborations, and partnerships: - Agricultural Conservation Easement Sponsorship - Disaster Assistance Program - Forest Health and Community Wildfire Resiliency - Riparian Plant Propagation Program - Sustainable Farms and Fields - Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program - Farmland Protection and Land Access - Irrigation Efficiencies Grant Program - Riparian Grant Program - Food Policy Forum - Office of Farmland Preservation - Science Hub - Voluntary Stewardship Program - Washington Soil Health Initiative - Coordinated Resource Management New programs, partnerships, and collaborations may be added to the program team in response to reflect updated agency priorities or based on external influences (e.g. direction from the Legislature). Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or higher in natural resources, environmental science, public administration, business administration, or related field AND five (5) years of relevant professional experience in staff supervision and program management. - Any combination of education/experience totaling nine (9) years AND valid Driver’s License; ability to travel as required. - Minimum five (5) years experience supervising professional staff (may run concurrently with relevant experience). - Minimum five (5) years experience managing programs or projects with agency- or division-wide impact. - Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor, and manage program budgets and resources. - Strong knowledge of program administration, grant or contract management, and performance measurement. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders. - Experience working with conservation districts, local governments, or similar entities. - Demonstrated ability to promote and support DEI in a leadership or program management role. Requirements - Masters degree in public administration or business administration or related degree (preferred). - Experience in a Washington state agency or comparable public-sector environment (preferred). - Direct experience with Conservation District programs or similar local/state partnerships (preferred). - Background in natural resource program management (preferred). - Experience in natural resource policy (preferred). • The US DMA is a regionally based position within U.S. Medical Affairs (USMA). • This position strategically drives scientific excellence across in-line business and the One of our company's Pipeline while optimizing field readiness across the USMA strategic pillars. • In collaboration with USMA Executive Director (ED) and Health Systems Payor & Access Strategy Lead (HS PASL), conducts development and implementation of regional strategies aligned with headquarters V&I goals. • Contributes to the integrated U.S. Country Medical Affairs Plan (CMAP), including the U.S. Field Medical Plan (FMP)/Field Engagement Plan (FEP), and field training plan for COPD TA as a member of the USMA COPD Leadership Team. • Identifies and prioritizes U.S. field resources, training needs and activities; and in collaboration with V&I Global Medical & Value Capabilities (V&I GMVC), ensures strategically aligned content and training and any other needed adult learning activities across the portfolio. • Develops a strategic and comprehensive scientific engagement plan and ensures scientific exchange aligns with the global scientific communications platform.

Role Description The Health System Director identifies and pursues both new business and conversion opportunities to sell digital workflows for groups participating in the In Office Assessment Program. They partner with Client Performance Directors, Implementation Team, Growth Team, Market Managers, and Health Care Advocates to gather intelligence and opportunity to showcase digital solutions best suited to each provider group. Once a solution is approved, the Health System Director will work with all appropriate parties to implement the workflow, set utilization expectations, and maintain relationships year over year. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: - Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase digital solutions annually across internal and external teams - Track, review, coordinate and ensure data integrity on inbound and outbound files - Partner with business owners to identify methods to execute upon the key strategic visions and then lead the initiative to completion - Manage project timelines and resources into recurring technical touchpoints - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met - Train internal and external on digital workflow and effective troubleshooting - Partner with internal departments to orchestrate eligible group participation on automated rosters - Orchestrate annual exercises to improve returns and overall reporting - Creating a team-oriented work climate that enables professional development and encourages creative solutions and strategies, establishes collaboration and emphasizes quality and cost - Partner with internal team(s) to provide reimbursement potential - Act as liaison to and represent senior management for change impact to program and digital modalities - Facilitate senior leadership decision making within the scope and change management process - Function independently, primarily remote engagement with limited travel across assigned territory to meet with providers to discuss Optum programs - Dedication to increasing the footprint of prospective programs through strategic planning - Identify strategies to overcome barriers to engage providers in participating in prospective programs - Leverage innovation and creativity when working with providers to overcome technical and administrative concerns with program engagement - Provide feedback on EMR/EHR systems where it is causing issues in meeting standards of documentation and coding - Provide guidance to team members in driving year over year improvement - Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients - Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders - Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
