Distribution Sales Manager
ConnectWise
• The Distributor Sales Manager owns the strategic, commercial and operational relationship between ConnectWise and its authorized distributors across the EMEA region, driving indirect revenue growth through strategic distributor engagement and joint business planning for his assigned Distributors. • The role is accountable for distributor alignment, performance, enablement, and governance, ensuring each distributor is positioned to successfully recruit, support, and grow MSP partners on the ConnectWise platform. • The Distributor Manager works in close partnership with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), who leads sell-through execution to MSP customers of the distributor. • Together, the DSE and RSM ensure a clear separation of responsibilities while delivering a coordinated, high-impact two-tier go-to-market motion.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to manage large projects and processes independently with limited supervision
- Recognized subject matter expert of applicable work area
- Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business requirements
- Ability to facilitate and lead internal resources to complete distributor initiatives
- Ability to foster sales engagement and cadence between both organizations
- Knowledge of distribution BI and vendor initiatives
- Ability to manage distribution pipeline and forecast revenue contribution
- Understanding of best practice and rollout of distribution incentive programs
- Knowledge of the ConnectWise Suite Portfolio functionality
- Ability to provide the value proposition of distribution to a direct sales organization
- Ability to develop executive level relationships within assigned account
- Ability to deliver net new account acquisition via distribution
- Preferred: understanding of Security, Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Professional Services Automation (PSA), Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR), Remote Control, IT Infrastructure, Documentation, Managed Services
