Billing Operations Manager

• Own day-to-day billing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and scalability • Establish and maintain reliable, repeatable processes that drive consistency across billing cycles • Manage and optimize billing workflows in Zone Billing within NetSuite, including subscription structures, billing schedules, and pricing configurations • Maintain, configure, and continuously improve NetSuite and Zone Billing to support new products, pricing models, and renewal motions, with a focus on automation and scalability • Perform and oversee complex reconciliations across systems, ensuring data integrity • Lead and manage a team of offshore billing specialists, setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and ensuring high-quality output • Create documentation, SOPs, and QA processes to support a distributed team and minimize errors • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Revenue, and Engineering to resolve discrepancies and improve processes • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization • Partner with Accounting on month-end and quarter-end close, owning the billing-side inputs to revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and AR
Job Requirements
- Significant hands-on billing and billing operations experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS or subscription-based environment
- Strong experience with NetSuite and Zone Billing
- Excel power user; comfortable with advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and large data sets; can build and audit complex workbooks with confidence
- Proven track record of leading complex reconciliations across systems and resolving messy, multi-source discrepancies
- Strong systems mindset; quick to learn new tools, map data flows, and identify root causes rather than treating symptoms
- Comfortable processing and analyzing large data sets; able to translate raw data into clear, defensible answers
- Experience managing or closely coordinating with offshore teams; sets clear expectations and holds a high-quality bar
- Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented; people trust your numbers and your follow-through
- Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, CS, and Engineering

Role Summary The Rare Disease - Rare Cardiac , Senior Health & Science Specialist is a field-based specialty sales role responsible for driving the growth of Rare Cardiac products through compliant, strategic relationships within assigned accounts. As part of this work, we are developing curriculum-embedded learner supports and a suite of supplemental Flexible Learning Supports. The goal is to provide practical, teacher-friendly resources that help educators differentiate instruction, support multilingual learners, and respond to student needs in real time. We’re looking for part-time contractors with expertise in supporting multilingual learners to help design these instructional supports. This engagement focuses on creating classroom-ready materials that help teachers meet the needs of students at varying levels of English proficiency. A central part of the work is ensuring that supports are not only instructionally strong, but also clearly aligned to English Language Development frameworks (such as WIDA or CA ELD) in ways that are visible and meaningful to educators and stakeholders. Initial engagement through August 2026, with potential extension based on project needs.
