Role Description The Lead HRIS Analyst will support the maintenance and enhancement of the Workday HCM system. This role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve efficiencies and automate processes using the Workday platform. The Lead HRIS Analyst will optimize system functionality through continuous process improvements and enhancements to provide an excellent end-user experience. You are required to have very deep knowledge of the skills necessary to perform your role, and the structure of the technology for which you are responsible. You will guide others through problem solving whether it is a technical issue, project impediment, or conflict. Essential Functions - Support system administration, including business process configuration and design of Workday HR. - Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deploy high-quality solutions in an Agile framework. - Understand system pain points, determine root causes, and develop solutions in Workday to address short-term and long-term requirements. - Identify and manage dependencies and downstream impacts of projects to minimize adverse effects on the system and business processes. - Design and develop custom reports to meet business requirements. - Configure and administer security in compliance with policies and procedures. - Deliver end-user support by conducting root cause analysis and resolving issues through the ticketing system. - Create and maintain detailed documentation for the design, configuration, and testing of requested changes and enhancements. - Manage the design and development of deliverables independently. - Support Workday release activities. - Train, coach, and mentor team members. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree. - 8+ years experience with an HR ERP system development role (Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.) troubleshooting and resolving environment issues for enterprise software applications. - At least 5 years of experience in Workday HCM with expertise in multiple modules. - Strong knowledge of Workday Security. - Proficient in Workday report writing (custom, advanced, matrix, and composite), dashboards, and hubs. - Strong understanding of APIs, data serialization formats (CSV, XML, JSON), and software integration best practices. - Proficiency in Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), XSLT, data transformation, Core connectors, and PECI, payroll integrations. - Experience with BIRT for creating custom reports and managing reporting needs within Workday. - Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to architect and design scalable solutions. - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines. - Emphasize lead analysts should have strong coding skills JSON, APIs, Web Services. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Workday Studio & BIRT and designing business document layouts. - Experience as a technical lead on a large full life-cycle implementation of Workday HCM. - Willingness to work until 2 pm EST / 11:30 pm IST. Preferred Education - Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field. Preferred Certifications - Workday Certifications. Mandatory Requirements - Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work.
