Role Description Our doctors blend evidence-based practice with innovative approaches to support thousands of patients across Australia. We are seeking experienced AHPRA-registered doctors to join our telehealth team as independent contractors. This is a fully remote, Tasmanian-based role, ideally suited to doctors who can commit to around 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your existing commitments. - Deliver high-quality telehealth consultations across a diverse patient base, including patients under 25 - Manage clinical assessments, prescriptions (S4 & S8), and follow-up consults - Work closely with nurses and doctor support teams to streamline care - Maintain complete documentation and compliance in a digital-first environment - Embrace digital tools to optimise patient outcomes and service efficiency - Have a commitment to our patients and their ongoing care Qualifications - MBBS or equivalent and an unrestricted AHPRA registration (Minimum PGY4) - Excellent time management with the ability to confidently manage 10 minute consults (4-6 patients/hour) - Familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulation, and medico-legal obligations - Strong clinical judgement, with an evidence-based and harm-reduction mindset - Strong documentation/admin skills - Experience working with multiple digital platforms and navigating tech efficiently - Punctual, reliable and responsive qualities – you value team collaboration and patient continuity Benefits - Consult rate of $60 per consult, with an expected 4 to 6 consults each hour - Additional incentives available for increased availability Company Description Alternaleaf is Australia’s largest telehealth provider of its kind, delivering safe and trusted services for over 200,000 patients. • Provide assessment/diagnosis and psychotherapy to a wide range of patients as young as 12 up to geriatric age, that are appropriate for telehealth services • Use evidence-based screening tools with patients to screen and measure outcomes • Document in electric medical record the services that were provided, as well as, providing diagnosis and billing code for the encounter • Provide services via audio and visual two way communication platform • Abide by the Code of Ethics and all laws and regulatory bodies governing the practice location • Coordinate with clinical, health education, community health and other staff members in the provision of services to patients if necessary. • Provide referrals for services needed • Provide clinical supervision for CA Associate level therapists • Assume other responsibilities as directed

Role Description As a Behavioral Health Care Advocate, you will be responsible for case management / care coordination of members on the SED and Autism Waivers. You'll have a direct impact on the lives of our members as you recommend and manage the appropriate level of care throughout the entire treatment plan. If you are located in Hays, KS, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: - Make patient assessments and determining appropriate levels of care - Obtain information from providers on outpatient requests for treatment - Determine if additional clinical treatment sessions are needed - Manage inpatient and outpatient mental health cases throughout the entire treatment plan - Administer benefits and review treatment plans - Coordinate benefits and transitions between various areas of care - Identify ways to add value to treatment plans and consulting with facility staff or outpatient care providers on those ideas - Develop and monitor implementation of Person-Centered Service Plans - Collaborate with Community Mental Health Centers to ensure members are receiving services and supports Qualifications - Licensed Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling; Licensed Ph.D., or Registered Nurse with 2+ years of experience in behavioral health - Active, unrestricted license in Kansas: LP, LPC, LCP, LCPC, LMSW, LSCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, or RN in the state of Kansas - 2+ years of post-license experience in a related mental health environment - Proven intermediate Microsoft skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams - Access to secure, high-speed internet (Broadband Cable, DSL, or Fiber) and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace at home - Live in or near Hays, KS, with access to reliable transportation and ability to travel within the service delivery area as needed (up to 50%) Requirements - Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse - Experience working in an environment that required coordination of benefits and utilization of multiple groups and resources for patients - Experience working with the Medicaid population - Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families Benefits - Comprehensive benefits package - Incentive and recognition programs - Equity stock purchase - 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements) Company Description At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
