• Act as the primary technical authority for Microsoft D365 , with accountability for overall system design, integrations, and architectural decisions • Advise the Technical Delivery Lead on platform-level technical decisions, risks, and improvement opportunities • Lead and enforce peer code reviews and technical design reviews for internal and contractor-developed solutions • Perform hands on development for complex, high risk, or time sensitive D365FO changes • Review and approve D365 X++ customizations, extensions, integrations, and data entities • Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications and solution designs • Own and oversee D365FO DevOps pipelines, branching strategies, builds, releases, and environment synchronization • Lead internal escalation for D365 production issues • Provide technical governance and oversight for outsourced development partners
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience) and 7+ years of ERP experience
- Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience in a real enterprise environment
- Understanding of D365 Finance & Operations architecture and development
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 cloud solution architecture, including designing, governing
- Strong technical foundation as a developer (strong knowledge of SDLC, release management, and change governance) with the ability to think and operate like a system architect
- Experience reviewing and evaluating development work done by others
- Comfort serving as the technical owner during high impact incidents
