Expense Specialists at GuidePoint Security are autonomous, detail-oriented, and organized individuals that support the accounting and payroll teams contributing to the overall corporate growth. Our Expense Specialists have the exciting role of supporting the entire GuidePoint Security Organization in all aspects of expense processing, auditing and reconciliation. ***Please note this position will be 30-40 hours to start*** Roles and Responsibilities: - Review and process employee expense reports for approximately 1,000 employees - Audit reports to ensure compliance with company policy - Prepare payment list to send to accounting for payment processing weekly - Export expense data into NetSuite and reconcile payments processed - Program expense submission and approval flows in Expensify - Produce accounting related reports - Help senior management document corporate procedures - Other duties as assigned Required Experience: - BA/BS in Finance/Accounting required, or equivalent in work experience - 1-3 years accounting experience - Strong MS Excel skills - Experience with Expensify and NetSuite preferred - Attention to detail is crucial - Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and a demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in both verbal and written forms - Possess the ability to self-manage and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work flexible work schedule required Travel Requirements: - Travel up to 10% Physical Requirements: - Sedentary work - Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day - Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day We use Greenhouse Software as our applicant tracking system and Zoom Scheduler for HR screen request scheduling.
