Role Description - Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance payers in a timely manner. - Review billing information for errors, inconsistencies, and compliance with payer guidelines. - Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure prompt resolution and payment. - Maintain accurate patient billing records and update invoices as needed. - Communicate effectively with insurance providers, patients, and internal teams to clarify billing issues. - Apply payer-specific billing rules and stay current with industry regulations and coding standards. - Assist in reconciling payments and resolving discrepancies in billing accounts. - Support the billing department in improving processes to increase efficiency and reduce claim denials. Qualifications - Prior experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management. - Knowledge of medical billing codes, insurance claim submission processes, and payer requirements. - Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in billing and claims. - Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, providers, and insurance companies. - Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently in a remote setting. - Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records is a plus. - Understanding of compliance regulations related to healthcare billing. - US billing experience is preferred. - Comfortable working U.S. hours. Role Description Join Hologic as our next Applications Specialist, driving breast health solutions across Switzerland. You’ll support clinicians using Hologic’s uniquely diverse and comprehensive breast health portfolio, spanning advanced imaging and biopsy systems, surgical and localization solutions (including Somatex and Endomag), and technologies that support clinicians across the entire breast care pathway from screening and diagnosis to treatment. Working closely with radiology and surgical teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful product adoption, delivering expert clinical training, and supporting healthcare professionals in achieving the best outcomes for their patients. With significant time in the field, you will become a trusted partner to customers while helping strengthen Hologic’s presence across the Swiss market. - Act as a key clinical and applications expert for Hologic’s Breast Health and Skeletal portfolio, including Somatex and Endomag technologies. - Deliver high-quality product training and education to radiologists, surgeons, nurses, and radiographers to ensure confident and effective product use. - Support installations, product demonstrations, workshops, conferences, and educational events across Switzerland. - Provide hands-on clinical support during procedures in operating rooms and radiology departments to ensure correct product application and optimal outcomes. - Assist customers in advanced applications troubleshooting and help resolve clinical or workflow challenges. - Support product evaluations and clinical trials in hospital environments to facilitate successful adoption of new technologies. - Work closely with Sales colleagues to support the full opportunity cycle, including pre-site assessments, clinical demonstrations, and post-installation support. - Identify opportunities within the existing customer base to increase utilisation, improve customer satisfaction, and drive growth. - Gather insights from customers and the competitive landscape to support continuous improvement and market expansion. - Collaborate closely with Sales, Field Service Engineering, Marketing, Technical Solutions, and Customer Service teams to ensure customers receive a first-class experience. Qualifications - Degree in Radiography, Radiology, Nursing, or a related clinical discipline. Nursing experience in breast surgery is a strong advantage. - Strong understanding of breast cancer care pathways and relevant clinical procedures within radiology or surgical environments. - Experience working in operating room or radiography settings, ideally with applications or clinical training responsibilities. - Confidence delivering engaging training sessions and clinical education to a variety of healthcare professionals. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and clinical information clearly and effectively. - Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to gather customer feedback and clinical insights that may contribute to product improvements. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and ERP systems such as Oracle is advantageous. - Knowledge of regulatory or accreditation requirements related to medical devices is beneficial. - Fluency in German and English essential. Additional fluency in French would be favourable. - Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland.
