Senior Automation Engineer
Cordatus Resource GroupCordatus Resource Group is a business process outsourcing (BPO) and consulting firm specializing in outsourced accounting, finance, IT, and administrative services. We primarily support U.S.-based clients and operate with a fully remote workforce. Our teams collaborate using secure, cloud-based SaaS platforms to deliver accurate, efficient, and compliant services.
Role Description We're hiring a Senior Automation Engineer to start by automating Cordatus's own operations, then move into client engagements as we scale our automation practice. You'll have unusually broad scope: choose the tools, design the solution, build it, ship it, and own the outcome. You'll work directly with the founder, an automation engineer turned operator, and play a real role in shaping how we deliver automation as a service. What You'll Do - Build production-grade automations across business functions (finance ops, RevOps, HR, IT and security workflows) - Pick the right tool for the job. RPA where it fits, AI agents where they're better, custom code when neither does - Document thoroughly and build for handoff. We're a managed services firm, durability matters - Lead client-facing automation projects as we scale the practice - Mentor junior engineers as the team grows Qualifications - 6 to 8 years building production automation in a business context, not just side projects - Deep experience in at least one major RPA platform (UiPath, Power Automate, or Blue Prism) - Strong Python and/or JavaScript. You can write actual code, not just configure low-code tools - Hands-on experience with LLM-based automation (n8n, Make, custom agent frameworks, or similar) - Comfortable integrating systems via APIs (REST, webhooks, OAuth) - Security-aware. You understand why credentials, data handling, and access controls matter, especially in regulated environments - Strong async communicator with reliable overlap to US business hours - Comfortable being client-facing (you'll get there as the practice scales) Nice to Have - Familiarity with broader iPaaS tools (Workato, Zapier, n8n, Make) - ISO 27001 or SOC 2 awareness - Prior consulting or managed services experience - Experience with PE-backed or mid-market environments - ClickUp, HubSpot, or similar workflow and CRM platforms (we use these internally) Benefits - Fully remote - Real ownership and influence on what gets built and how - Direct work with the founder, not buried under layers - A clear path to lead our automation practice as we grow it How to Apply Send a resume and a short note about a recent automation you're proud of. What was the problem, what did you build, what was the outcome? Bonus points if you include something you learned the hard way.
Role Description The Logos Messaging team is focused on creating communication infrastructure for a freer internet — permissionless, interoperable, and based on user consent. We're building toward a world where anyone can reach anyone on a network that no single entity controls or can take away. We cannot afford to compromise on Privacy, and "Eventual Decentralisation" is not an option. Right now we're deep in the hard problems: Bringing decentralised group messaging over MLS to all developers. This is frontier tech work — the protocols we're writing don't have established playbooks, and the tradeoffs we're navigating haven't all been mapped yet. This is where you come in. We're a small team seeking engineers who have a passion for decentralised chat and who've thought deeply about how these systems work, where they fail, and what it takes to get them right. You'll work directly on our SDK and contribute to the protocols underneath it, with real ownership over work that enables open communication. Qualifications - Deep familiarity with real-world instant messaging systems - you've worked on, contributed to, or spent serious time understanding how systems like Signal, Matrix, XMPP, or similar are built, where they make tradeoffs, and where they struggle. - Experience with decentralised computing - peer-to-peer systems, distributed networks, or decentralised application infrastructure. - Comfort working directly with cryptographic primitives - signatures, ciphers, and key exchanges and an understanding of secure private messaging principles such as forward secrecy, post-compromise security, and key management. - Solid Rust experience: comfortable writing reliable, maintainable code in a team setting. - Previous experience with Web3, blockchains, open protocols, and the values that underpin them. - A strong alignment to our principles: https://logos.co/manifesto/ Requirements - Implement our messaging protocols in our reference SDK, translating protocol specs into reliable, production-quality Rust. - Own the API design and developer experience of the SDK surface — abstractions, ergonomics, and developer-facing documentation. - Contribute to messaging protocol specifications alongside the team. - As a member of a small team, you'll wear many hats — picking up problems outside your immediate lane, learning as you go, and growing with the team. - Write clear technical documentation and participate in async design discussions with collaborators across the project. Bonus points - Experience with Post-Quantum Cryptography and its application to secure messaging. - Experience with MLS (Message Layer Security / RFC 9420) or the OpenMLS library specifically. - You've authored or contributed to an open specification. - Familiarity with P2P transport layers such as Waku or libp2p. - Experience working for an open source organisation. - Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously. Hiring process - Interview with our Talent team. - Interview with Team Member (Technical Life Story). - Interview with Team Lead / Pair Programming Session (Technical Discussion). - Interview with Program Lead (Culture Fit). Compensation The expected compensation range for this role is negotiable, dependent on how we assess your skills and experience throughout our interview process. We are happy to pay in any mix of fiat/crypto.
