• Develop hypotheses and design high-quality user interfaces for a global audience. • Create engaging designs and animations that align with user needs and business goals. • Plan and conduct user research. • Present your design solutions to the team. • Initiate and contribute to the development and improvement of our Health & Fitness apps. • Actively collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, ensuring smooth implementation of your ideas throughout the development process.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a similar Product Design role.
- Strong expertise in both UI and UX design, with a user-centered approach.
- Deep understanding of platform-specific design patterns and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of iOS and Material Design guidelines.
- Proven experience in prototyping and designing interfaces for complex, task-specific use cases.
- Experience creating design assets, motion/animations, and detailed design specifications for development.
- High attention to detail and strong visual design skills.
- Ability to set up and conduct user research processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Solid understanding of animation principles, with the ability to enhance user experience and maintain a high-quality look and feel.
- Basic understanding of mobile app development processes.
- Will be a plus: Experience working with Claude and Figma MCP in design workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered image generation tools.

• Take full ownership of UX, design quality, and user journeys across the product. • Turn UX into a measurable growth lever — directly improving activation, retention, and conversion. • Work closely with Product and Growth to design and optimize funnels, onboarding, paywalls, and retention loops. • Audit and continuously improve the end-to-end user journey — from acquisition through long-term retention. • Analyze product analytics independently — Mixpanel funnels, cohort analysis, retention curves, drop-off patterns. • Connect UX decisions directly to business metrics — activation rate, retention curves, LTV, conversion. • Define hypotheses, experiments, and success metrics for every UX initiative. • Use session recordings (Clarity, FullStory, Hotjar), heatmaps, and behavioral data to identify friction points. • Proactively request and define new analytics instrumentation and reporting needs with the data team. • Validate UX changes through A/B testing (GrowthBook or similar) — hypothesis, implementation, result analysis. • Define, enforce, and evolve a clear, scalable design system (implemented directly in frontend, not Figma-first). • Lead and direct designers and frontend engineers involved in UI/UX work — set the definition of done. • Set the visual and interaction quality bar across the product. • Establish a structured research practice — define priorities, run interviews, surveys, and usability tests. • Translate raw research into prioritized, actionable product decisions. • Direct and level up the existing UX researcher on the team — provide structure, frameworks, and clear priorities.

Role Description Designers at Thoughtworks creatively solve the right problems. We work collaboratively to deliver bespoke software and take on the most challenging problems our clients have. - Play an active role in the delivery and design of technology projects, developing and evolving digital products and services within complex ecosystems. - Collaborate with small, cross-functional teams to create a wide range of experience design deliverables including journey maps, service blueprints, prototypes at multiple fidelity levels, and design systems. - Contribute to the evolution of Design Platforms and Design Systems, connecting design decisions to product and engineering strategy. - Work in close collaboration with engineering teams, understanding technical trade-offs and operating comfortably in agile delivery contexts. - Lead discovery and research activities, translating findings into concrete product and platform-level decisions — not just research outputs. - Facilitate workshops and develop design strategies that connect user insights to business and product direction. - Balance client and Thoughtworker expectations by clearly communicating experience design deliverables and managing scope and risk. - Support less-experienced designers and contribute to the broader design community at Thoughtworks.
