Role Description The Representative role at Alight Financial Services requires knowledge of the securities industry, brokerage investing, and other company services. Effective communication skills are essential for customer and support interactions, as well as independent work, troubleshooting, researching issues, and developing solutions. Responsibilities - Working knowledge of types of After Tax Brokerage Accounts and objectively help customers select the most appropriate provider. - Working knowledge of general qualified plan requirements. Able to provide information and guidance around the effects of plan distributions, loans, investment choices, and other specific plan rules. - Understanding types of IRA accounts and being able to identify which IRA is appropriate and communicate effectively. - Understanding of the college savings plan options available through the PFC. Must be able to effectively navigate internal PFC 529 website to retrieve needed information. - Being able to build a knowledge base and effectively communicate to employees what the advisor relationship is. Qualifications - 5 years financial industry experience. - Possess ability to utilize conceptual thinking to identify patterns, apply concepts, and clarify complex information. - Possess ability to educate callers on complex retirement and education funding concepts. - Possess ability to listen to customers, to understand both articulated and unarticulated needs. - Possess ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 within 6 months of employment. - Possess rapport building and interpersonal skills. - Possess teamwork skills needed to engage the energies of others on the team, within the Call Center and DC (Defined Contribution) Client Teams to help in achieving goals. - Possess ability to use data to persuade and influence customers to objectively guide them. - Possess ability to ask relevant probing questions to better assess customer needs.
