Software Engineer - Full Stack - Data Marketplace

Role Description LiveRamp is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help drive the technical evolution of our Data Marketplace for the era of AI. You’ll be a key contributor in building the capabilities that support autonomous agents and automated data discovery - ensuring our premium third-party data is as accessible to AI-driven systems as it is to our human customers. - Implement core features for our agentic Data Marketplace; you’ll work alongside senior engineers to design and build medium-to-high complexity features that are efficient, scalable, and maintainable. - Support system health by identifying bottlenecks and managing dependencies within your project areas. You’ll collaborate with L4/L5 engineers to resolve technical hurdles and keep team priorities on track. - Contribute to the product cycle by providing technical feedback on specs and participating in design reviews. You’ll help translate product requirements into technical reality, ensuring the team builds the right solutions for our customers. - Uphold high engineering standards through rigorous peer code reviews and sophisticated testing. You’ll focus on high-coverage unit and integration testing to ensure our platform remains the most trusted in the data ecosystem. - Drive team-level excellence by documenting system interactions, sharing best practices during retrospectives, and proactively communicating progress to keep stakeholders and cross-functional partners aligned. Qualifications - About 3 years of hands-on development experience, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality code in Agile/Scrum environments. - Strong technical execution in API development and system integration. You understand how to build interfaces that bridge complex data ecosystems for both human users and AI agents. - Full-stack proficiency across TypeScript, Go, Python, and React. You are familiar with how to leverage Redis and Sidekiq for managing background tasks and concurrency. - A proactive "owner" mindset. You take personal accountability for your deliverables, ensuring they are production-mature, well-documented, and performant. - Collaborative and communicative. You enjoy working closely with senior mentors and cross-functional peers (Product, Infra, QA) to navigate technical challenges and refine project scopes. - Dedicated to quality. You have a track record of implementing sophisticated integration tests and refactoring code to improve long-term maintainability. - Growth-oriented. You are an active participant in team culture - whether it’s contributing to tech discussions, documenting a new service, or helping a teammate troubleshoot a tricky bug. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
