Role Description Join our team as an Actuarial Analyst, where you will use your expertise in mathematics, probability, statistics, and business principles to support a variety of actuarial functions, including: - Rating and pricing - Valuation - Healthcare economics - Financial forecasting Working closely with a team of actuaries, you will contribute to the actuarial aspects of health programs, ensuring a collaborative and comprehensive approach. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) - 2+ years of relevant actuarial experience. Requirements - Performs actuarial research, experience studies, and statistical analyses and calculations. - Calculates premiums and reserves of new and existing plans of insurance. - Provides support to senior analysts or actuaries as required. - Retrieves and validates data for rate filings and actuarial models. - Builds model enhancements and determines reasons for changes to calculated factors. - Analyzes impacts of changes to product lines and segments. - Communicates filing status to internal stakeholders and transmits rate filings to regulatory agencies (NCDOI, CMS). - Retrieves and validates data for monthly reports and for UCL and ALR calculation. - Supports valuation by executing ALR model and verifying results. - Researches to support ALR assumption studies and UCL estimates. - Distributes established reports and responds to inquiries. - Investigates trends and anomalies. - Executes control activities to support Enterprise Risk Management. - Provides analytic support for corporate and departmental projects. - Is a participant in good standing in the Actuarial Development Program. • Define and maintain product adoption and feature usage metrics across Tithely’s product suite, ensuring data is easily accessible and self-serve for Product Managers • Build, standardize, and own product performance dashboards within BI tools to provide consistent visibility across all products • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests end-to-end, and establish a scalable experimentation framework for the EPD organization • Instrument and analyze user flows and funnels to identify friction points, drop-off, and opportunities for product improvement • Partner closely with Product Managers to deliver timely, high-quality ad hoc analyses that inform product decisions • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design during feature discovery to define tracking strategies, including event schemas, properties, and data relationships that enable meaningful insights while minimizing technical debt • Act as a “bilingual” technical partner, translating product requirements into clear data and tracking specifications for Engineering, while ensuring alignment with Data & Analytics modeling standards

• Leading complex analysis to develop actionable and innovative recommendations for achieving growth and profitability targets in the responsible states. • Proactively assessing market risks and opportunities, evaluating multiple possible solutions, and maximizing data-based insights to influence the decisions. • Using tools like Snowflake, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Essbase to access and analyze large amounts of data (may also use other tools such as SAS, PowerBI, Python, etc.) • Understanding and communicating the overall performance and strategy of personal lines auto and property products in your assigned markets. • Quantifying catastrophe risk and identifying risk management strategies. • Building annual revenue plans and explaining variances to these plans. • Working cross-functionally with partners across the organization, including Marketing, Actuarial, Finance, and others, to support the development, design, and implementation of new products, programs, and processes. • Delivering effective presentations of findings to multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders, adapting the content as appropriate. • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
