DIVERSITY & INCLUSION Job Title: Way4 Specialist Location: Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru India Experience: 6+ Years Domain: Payments Job Summary: We are seeking a Way4 Technical Lead with deep expertise in OpenWay’s Way4 platform and extensive experience in the Payments domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving solution design, development, and delivery of Way4-based payment systems while leading a team of engineers in an Agile environment. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills in SQL/PLSQL, a solid understanding of card payments and transaction processing, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions on the OpenWay Way4 platform. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions. Develop, optimize, and review complex SQL/PLSQL scripts and database components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations) to ensure successful end-to-end delivery. Drive Agile delivery processes including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives. Conduct technical reviews, code quality checks, and performance tuning. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the payments ecosystem to enhance system capabilities. Required Skills and Experience: 10+ years of total IT experience, with at least 5+ years in the Payments domain. Proven experience working with OpenWay’s Way4 platform (authorization, switching, cards management, settlement, etc.). Strong expertise in SQL/PLSQL, database design, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience leading and mentoring teams in an Agile/Scrum setup. Solid understanding of card payments, transaction flows, EMV, ISO 8583, and related standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive delivery under tight timelines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating Way4 with external systems and APIs. Exposure to digital payments, real-time processing, and issuer/acquirer systems. Experience in client-facing roles or global delivery environments.
