Creative Copywriter Remote, Eastern time zone Overview Placement Type: N/A Salary: $48.95-56.96 Hourly Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00-3:00 Eastern, however, hours will vary based on workload Aquent is seeking a highly skilled Creative Services Copywriter to support a fast-paced in-house creative team for a major healthcare client. This is a hands-on, high-volume role focused on producing high-quality content across digital, print, and integrated campaign channels. You will be a key player in a major rebranding effort and asset migration, requiring a writer who is both a “holistic thinker” and a meticulous “finisher.” The ideal candidate balances creative storytelling with process discipline to move readers toward action while maintaining a strict brand voice. Key Responsibilities - Multi-Channel Writing: Develop clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate copy for email campaigns, newsletters, blog posts, social media, advertising, and landing pages. - Audience Adaptation: Expertly shift voice and tone to address B2B, B2C, and B2B2C audiences effectively. - Brand Migration: Support the strategic transition of brand assets, ensuring all migrated content aligns with new brand standards and messaging hierarchies. - Collaboration: Partner closely with designers, creative managers, and marketing stakeholders to ensure copy is on-strategy and integrated across all touchpoints. - AI-Assisted Production: Utilize AI tools (Copilot, Grammarly, etc.) for drafting and ideation, with the expert ability to humanize and refine output for specific use cases. - Editing & Proofreading: Maintain exceptional attention to detail to ensure all deliverables are accurate, on-brand, and error-free. Required Skills & Qualifications - Experience: 5–7+ years of copywriting experience within an integrated marketing agency or in-house creative department. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or a related field preferred (Associate’s degree with significant experience required). - Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in Telehealth or Healthcare is highly preferred. - Technical Stack: * Required: Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - Preferred: Jira, Sprout Social, and Adobe InCopy. - Persuasive Writing: Deep understanding of how to use strong hooks, value propositions, and CTAs to drive conversions. - Process Mindset: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a high-pressure environment while incorporating feedback constructively. Top 3 Skills for Success - Voice Adaptability: The ability to write “as the client” rather than a freelancer, seamlessly adopting a complex corporate voice. - Holistic Strategy: Thinking beyond a single asset to see how copy works across an entire campaign ecosystem. - Humanizing Tech: Leveraging AI-assisted writing tools to speed up production without sacrificing the empathy and nuance required for healthcare communications. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.95 to $56.96 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
